With plenty of sunlit space and comforts to delight everyone in your group, this wonderful coastal getaway will be a vacation destination to remember! Gorgeous views of Lake Lytle await you from both inside and out at this classic, three-story, Oregon Coast home, while miles of sandy beach can be found just a short walk from your door. For mealtimes, the well-equipped, full kitchen is located right off the deck on the main floor, where you'll also find a private gas grill for summertime cookouts. Plus, the open-concept kitchen, living area, and dining area create an ideal atmosphere for socializing and entertaining. This home also includes a garage game room with an air hockey table that's ideal for post-beach fun.
Outdoor activities include birdwatching and wildlife viewing at the lake, fishing for smallmouth bass, perch, and stocked rainbow trout off the public dock, and exploring the many shops and excellent restaurants less than a mile away in nearby Rockaway Beach. The fun is never-ending at this delightful, family-friendly vacation home!

This was the perfect house for my family of 5 (3 adults, 2 children). The king size bed upstairs was so comfortable and it had its own bathroom. I’m a kid at heart so waking up and walking out the game room to play super Mario was my favorite! The main floor had such a beautiful view of the lake! It was exciting watching all the boat action and animal life like the birds diving for fish! Loved it. The beach was a hop and skip away and it was just such a beautiful experience! Make sure to walk down and watch the sunset because it is breathtaking. Also I really enjoyed the fact that there were boogy boards and bikes and games in the garage it really made our stay that much more enjoyable and special. The wrap around patio was lovely and the grill was a great bonus. This house was just beautiful and I would absolutely recommend it and will be staying there again.

One block from the beach, a lovely view of the mountains, over which the sun rises and lights up the mist over the lake in the mornings! The house is fairly well appointed with a well stocked kitchen including both a Keurig-compatible coffee maker and a coffee pot. Games, puzzles, DVDs, air hockey, and tons of stuff you can take to the beach, like camp chairs, buckets and shovels for the kids, etc. There are even bicycles and wakeboards. Really, what's not to love?!
The only reasons we had to give it four stars is that the water heater is undersized for the house. A family of four coming back from a day at the beach will struggle to get four hot showers. If you have six guests, it's impossible. And the house really gets quite hot when the sun shines in the big windows. Even with the blinds drawn, windows open, and the ceiling fan running the house can get pretty warm so be prepared for that.

The property is close to beach and train station. The property was clean however, found some spiders in basement room. The owner has lot of games and books for free time.

We really loved how close we were to Garibaldi, Cannon beach, Manzanita.
The house has everything you need it could just be a little cleaner.
