THE SPACE
The newly remodeled kitchen is a huge highlight of this one-of-a-kind home. New stainless steel luxury appliances and custom cabinetry adorn the room with lovely views of the mature backyard landscaping. Off the kitchen, there are two outdoor seating areas perfect for enjoying the cool mountain weather with your morning coffee or "al fresco" dining on the terrace. A bright living space with a cozy brick fireplace and red mountain views is perfect for gathering with family or friends.
Two comfortable bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with two full beds, are conveniently located on the main floor. An oversized soaking tub in the adjacent bathroom offers rejuvenation after a long day exploring the town. Downstairs, an additional window-lined basement bedroom with gas fireplace offers a quiet, private retreat with it's own en suite shower and plush queen bed.
In a detached building just a few steps from the kitchen, a newly remodeled media loft with balcony is a unique and welcome addition. This entertainment space with a large flat screen TV is perched high above Blake Ave and features gorgeous red mountain views. A sleek bathroom with shower adds a great modern touch to this charming home.

The main home does not have central A/C but instead has a central evaporative cooler for your comfort. The bonus room is equipped with an A/C unit.

What a beautiful home that fit our needs perfectly. The home had everything needed to fix meals and enjoy eating out on the patio. We enjoyed the court yard in the evening. Beautiful plants all around. Very quiet neighborhood. Great location to Hot Springs pool, 5 minute walk to grocery store and a nice stroll downtown for dinner. We are planning to be back next summer. Thank you for sharing your home.

We (3 adults and 2 children) overall enjoyed our stay at the house. We found the location to be very central and close if not walking distance to most restaurants. The outside space was also very enjoyable with a nice sitting area. The house was very clean and taken care of plus had more than sufficient cooling. Things to note that could use improvement...1. One of the rooms to have a Queen or King sized bed. Not the most comfortable to have two adults in a Full, the rooms were large enough to accommodate. 2. Shower situation was difficult with the shower being downstairs and in the bonus room above the garage only. This was hard with the two most accessible rooms having only a bath NOT a shower. 3. As most old houses are there were definitely "quirks" with the home. The most notable was the lean of the two main bedrooms. The doors leaned, the bed leaned (my husband rolled right off) and basically you felt like you were on a slide. Obviously not of the owners fault but there could have been ways to move the furniture so the slant wasn't so aggressive as you were sleeping. All in all we would still recommend the house. We have stayed in many VRBO's in Glenwood and we would definitely rate this as a 3.5-4 stars overall. It would have just been nice to know some of the "cons" going into the stay.
