Beautiful, spacious and pristinely clean home, perfect for families big or small. We had a group of 9, ranging in age from 2 to 75 yrs old and the home worked well for everyone. Between the peekaboo glimpses of the ocean/beach, well-stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans etc), washer/dryer, the hot tub in the backyard, and the fire pit in the front yard (perfect for s’mores) this home has something for everyone. I really appreciated how clean everything was and the master was huge! One of the bedrooms is accessed from the master, which worked perfectly for us since the younger kids could use that room. The neighborhood was walkable and you are right across from the street. Also, another huge plus is that there is a shed with everything you would need for a fun day at the beach (chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc). My aunt gushed about how she could hear the ocean at night from her bedroom, and it lulled her to sleep at night. Highly recommend the home!!

We had an excellent stay! The house layout was great, lots of places for gathering, playing games, watching sports, sitting by the fire ect. So much fun going to the beach then hanging out in the hot tub after. The outdoor shower is a plus! Kitchen is outfitted great for cooking. Beds are comfortable. Master bedroom is amazing! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! We'll definitely be back!

This house had a great location. It was a 7 mniute walk to the beach and it is in a quiet neighborhood. We had our three girls join us and two of their spouses. We also had our son, wife and their son join us for dinners as they lived in town. Be aware that while four of the bedrooms have queen/king size beds, one of the bedrooms is accessed through the master bedroom and master bathroom. Our single daughter did not feel comfortable staying in that room so she chose to sleep in the room with 4 single bunkbeds (which she thought was fine). The kitchen worked out well as it had plenty of dinner ware. Everybody loved the outdoor hot tub which seemed to heat up pretty quickly. We grilled steaks one night and the grill worked fine as well. The shed in the back had lots of beach things (which we did not use) but it also had a high chair which we did use. We walked into Carlsbad Village a few times for dinner which was a pleasant stroll. There is a Von's grocerty store about 5 minutes away by car and a Costco about a 10 minute drive as well. Very nice location.

The place was great. About five minute walk to the beach. Beach was awesome. They had beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a couple boogie boards. We had a total of eight people and a small family get together, which worked out great. Plenty of space in the house. Jacuzzi was grade easily fit six people in there comfortably. Shopping was close by grocery store about five minutes Costco about 10 minutes. Quiet neighborhood and you can hear the waves at night if you open the windows.

Strong communication throughout with the hosts so there were no surprises. The location is amazing right across from the beach with a great view of sunset. Lots of little amenities within the house showing the amount of thought and care put in for guests to maximize stay. The place is very spacious as we had 9 in beds (6 adults; 3 toddlers), and one in a pack and play, and we all had plenty of space. Highly recommend for those going to Carlsbad.

Had a great visit at this property. In town for a college graduation and was looking for a place close to the beach that had space for everyone. Bar area, living and family rooms, big kitchen and nice outdoor areas made it perfect for us. 1 of the bedrooms was off the master bathroom which was odd. For us, it was not an issue. House was VERY clean and the kitchen had tons of flatware, dishes and glassware. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family from Wisconsin and Connecticut stayed here before/after a wedding reception and enjoyed the whole place! It was a short walk to the beach and the beach toys and boogie board was great fun for the kids. They also created a “restaurant” with the bar area taking orders for drinks and snacks to serve to the adults😜. They loved the bunk beds and the oldest granddaughter loved having her own room with a balcony. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Neal responded quickly to any questions or issues. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this home. The property was beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. It had dishes, utensils, refrigerator, bbq grill, an amazing hot tub, great TV’s and plenty of space!! We had a blast!! It really was the perfect place to stay with our considerably large family. My husband accidentally left his ID and credit card. The owners recovered them both and went out of their way to make sure we got them back. Holistically, it was a magnificent property, and we are definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future!

The 5th bedroom is located in/through the primary suite - which worked just fine for our family but it wasn’t clear from the profile. Our family had a great stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday! The property had plenty of space for all of us to spread out and enjoy, and was a very easy walk to a beautiful beach, where we spent a lot of time. The Village was close and had many food options, which was great for the nights we decided not to cook in. As an added bonus, our young son (a soccer fanatic) loved watching the World Cup games at the bar. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here for a long weekend away with our family and our close friends. We had three kids and four adults and there was plenty of space. The kitchen is great and right next to a common area for the kids to relax while we prepared meals. Also lots of beach supplies and an outdoor shower to rise off. We rented a golf cart for getting back and forth from the beach to avoid sand in the car, its walkable but the golf cart was lots of fun. I highly recommend staying here :)

Agree with other reviews - house is easy to pop into for a few days of fun in Carlsbad. Spa huge plus. You can hear that wonderful wave action from the ocean. Someone mentioned trains …. we heard one each morning which was kinda nice for us. On quiet cul de sac. Bedroom configuration is one gigantic room that has access to a walk-in closet, an enormous bathroom & a personal addon bedroom (great for those with a baby or toddler), one room with 2 reasonably sized bunk beds, & then 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom between them. All upstairs. My only suggestion is that a comfy reading chair in the SW corner of the large room would be wonderful!!!!

My family rented this house for five days, celebrating two grandson’s highschool graduations. This house was perfect! It has an excellent layout, large areas for gathering both inside and outside. The house is very clean. Communication with the property manager was excellent. He quickly responded to all my messages before and during our stay. The jacuzzi was great, the teens loved it.

This house met every one of our expectations. The neighborhood is quiet with a short walk to the beach. The property manager was very quick to get back anytime we had a question. I would highly recommend this house for multiple families as it’s very roomy! The bedroom through the master bedroom was no big deal at all and still allowed plenty of privacy.
