Make this gorgeous Montana home near Yellowstone Park your vacation destination this summer! The Mountain Mirador Lodge is a lovely welcoming home in the Yellowstone Park and Chico Hot Springs area, ideal for family vacations and reunions and just plain getting away from it all!
The home is a short 15 minute drive to Chico Hot Springs, 10 minutes to the town of Emigrant, and a beautiful approx. 25-30 minutes through Yankee Jim Canyon to the north entrance of Yellowstone Park and the town of Gardiner, Montana. Lots of wildlife along the way! In every direction are breathtaking scenes of the Yellowstone River, Paradise Valley and Emigrant Peak. The home’s large windows and two decks are great for indoors or outdoors viewing and for relaxing with a barbecue cook-out or as you enjoy the scenery.
There are two very comfortable living spaces - a spacious living and dining area with cozy gas fireplace on the main level, and on the lower level there is a gathering/game room with table tennis, pool table, and loungers for TV or movie watching (DVD library available). The house is situated and built in a way that takes maximum advantage of the views, with large windows all around.
There is a large deck on the front of the house with phenomenal views of the Absaroka mountain peaks, which is accessible from a private master bedroom door and from the main entry. There is a BBQ deck just off of the kitchen and dining area, along with a patio off with a private entrance outside of one of the two lower level bedrooms
Sleeping Accommodations: The home has two master suites on the main floor, one with a king bed, TV, spacious bathroom with a beautiful tiled shower. The other suite has a queen bed and private bathroom with a tub/shower. Downstairs are two more bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. Further sleeping space is available using two loungers in the family room which open out to full sized beds, each accommodating two people for sleeping. A third full bathroom serves this floor.
Nearby is historic Chico Hot Springs Resort with its natural hot springs pool, trails rides, sporting clays, day spa, and exceptional dining. Other activities in the Valley include whitewater rafting, scenic flights, guided trips and tours into the Park, art galleries, rodeos in June and July, and in August, the Fiddler’s picnic.
Shopping: In the nearby small town of Emigrant you’ll find a well-stocked grocery store, bank, post office, gas station, gift store, fly fishing store, cafe, bar and restaurant. A little further north you will find the towns of Livingston and Bozeman with more options for shopping and dining.

House is a great getaway for a large family. Pool and ping pong for the young at heart, a cabinet stocked with games, and 2 decks to sit and relax on. Watching the moon rise over Emmigrant Peak is pretty spectacular! 10 miles to Chico for a good soak in the hotsprings/pool and the kids saw 2 bears in Yellowstone Park !

Nice hime beautiful views only thing is we found mice poop on the floor, beds, furniture. Would just suggest a really good deep clean before guests arrive.

The property itself was smaller than expected from the photos but with the storm not all of our party was able to make it so it was fine. There are a few basic kitchen amenities which was nice! The property manager realized the miscommunication on the entry code and called as we pulled into the property to ensure we had the correct one. The game area downstairs was a big hit with the family! Both upstairs and downstairs tvs didn’t work correctly. The floors were not clean in the bathrooms.(dead flies, dust, hair) The fact that we arranged for an early check in(1pm) only to find that in order to access the house we had to walk up the driveway (200ft, steep uphill, through 3 ft of snow, in an active show storm) we were able to utilize the sled in the garage to trek our luggage to the home as we were told the driveway would not be plowed until 5pm. The plow team showed up early at 3ish but got stuck in the snow multiple times. We were informed that this property is not on a contracted plow schedule and not being able to access the property was a frequent issue. The close proximity to Chico hot springs was very nice. Yellowstone hot springs is also close by! I would suggest the property manager do an update on the property binder as it’s pretty out of date, and could be a helpful resource.
