Need a place to relax and unwind, a romantic get-away, or time away with friends and family? This newly renovated, unique 4-bedroom home is nestled in the hills of Western Holmes County on a peaceful 16 acre property. It is situated midway between Holmes County’s Amish Country and the Mohican Recreation area. This home offers a spacious open living area with a comfortable leather sectional and Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a loaded coffee bar. In the dining room, you’ll enjoy a beautiful farmhouse table which seats up to 8 guests, along with a small breakfast table for two! There is a large updated full bath and laundry facility for your convenience.
Bedroom #1 is a quaint little room on the main level with a full bed. Upstairs, Bedroom #2 has a twin and a full bed that would be perfect for the kiddos. Bedroom #3 is a beautiful cozy room with a queen bed. Bedroom #4 is the spacious luxurious master with a queen bed, leather chair, ottoman, and Smart TV.
This property offers beautiful country views, which often include glimpses of deer, wild turkey, fox, and of course breathtaking sunsets that can be enjoyed from the covered front porch.Or enjoy the beautiful lighted, spacious,private campfire pit area & picnic table.Plenty of fire wood provided!

Nice, clean, cost efficient place to stay especially compared to having to stay in a hotel in town. We travelled to Killbuck to visit a family farm nearby. This is a converted barn on a main home property. The owners had attentive communication. The place was very clean, nicely decorated, with helpful signs posted and amenities considered for guests. You can tell that the owners care about this rental being a good experience. We would happily stay here again.

We came for a getaway weekend to enjoy then Amish area. We love the shopping and flea markets. The Barn was adorable and had everything we needed for a nice stay. I recommend this to anyone looking at this property, The owners were very responsive and provided everything we needed. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful—immaculately clean, cozy, and clearly well cared for. The surrounding land was peaceful and secluded, which made for a truly relaxing getaway. It was just what we needed.The only thing we hadn’t expected was how close the owners' home was to the rental; they’re right next door. That said, they were very friendly and respectful of our space, only using the barn's driveway a couple of times during our stay.It was also a little tricky to find the road at first—GPS makes it look like you’re turning into someone’s private driveway, when it’s actually more of a main access road. Just something to be aware of when you arrive.Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, restful place to unwind. Kid friendly!!!

We had a wonderful time here. The barn was absolutely beautiful, and I especially loved the personal touches throughout the house. The owners used to live here, and they left thoughtful notes explaining the meaning behind the decor and sharing bits of the home’s history, which made the stay even more special. They also provided great suggestions for local places to check out. We were able to attend their church, and it was truly lovely. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I stayed her with our adult children, spouse, infant & toddler grandchildren. The space was perfect and as described. Nice open living area to gather with quiet spacious bedrooms. Casey was great with communication and was available when needed and very responsive. Great dinage and directions throughout the space made it very convenient. The outdoor space looked fun with a fully set up fire ring. It was too chilly for us this weekend but definitely a plus if you visit in the summer. Getting to the barn is back an old road as described. It could be an issue if there is snow. It was not an issue for us but worth mentioning. All in all a great place for a group visit. Thank you again for the use of your home.

We stayed at the barn last year and booked it a year later as soon as we knew what weekend we needed. I have been to enough rental properties to know there are some good and, some bad and many that were more expensive! The barn continues to be my gold standard for how rentals should be set-up and run! My friend and I joke about when we forget something for our trip that the owners more than likely have what we need there. It may seem silly but I am opening a bag of chips for my kids and realize I forgot the clip to keep the chips fresh. Then I thought to myself, “Wait a second, I wonder if….”. There in one of the drawers were two bag clips! I had to make sure I remembered to remove them when I left so I didn’t take them with me! Lol Again, very well done and it is appreciated! That is just a small example of why this place and their owners are great!

Our stay at “The Barn at Sunset Lane” was nothing short of amazing. I live in Florida but grew up in Ohio and wanted to show my new family a little bit of ‘home’. The property is remote, peaceful, and exactly what I was hoping for. The girls loved being able to run around outside, chase lightning bugs, watch deer, and make smores. They are already looking forward to another trip. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the memorable trip!

We spent Father’s Day weekend with our two little ones and parents for a short getaway. The barn was spotless with many great details and little touches that made our stay more comfortable. The owners also had great suggestions on activities and places to eat in town. We loved spending the even around the fire pit and catching fireflies around the yard. Each morning we enjoyed coffee on the porch watching the deer roam the grounds. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This place is a hidden gem! Coming from a small town, but can hear road noise on a daily basis it was SO nice to relax on the front patio area in silence! Everything was neat and tidy. My kids loved the board games, and it was nice to let my 5 year old run around the yard. I would recommend this place 100x over!

Best vacation rental I've ever stayed at. Our second stay there. We were left wanting for nothing. So roomy, open, accomodating for lots of conversation. Four bedrooms, each great. The host knew we were planning a fire in their beautiful outdoor setting and he set it up FOR us while we were away! I cannot recommend this place enough.

This a a very lovely property. Quiet at night. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the night and rainfall. Close to shopping, wineries etc. easy check in and communicative hosts.
