Stay in an original farmhouse built in 1849, nestled in a valley in N. Central Ohio. Snuggle in front of the fireplace in winter and sit back with a cool drink on the back porch in summer. Take long walks in the woods on the 160 acre property any time! Located close to Amish country, and local wineries. This farm house is recently renovated with all modern conveniences. Central air, forced air natural gas furnace, a natural gas fireplace, hardwood floors, wifi and enhanced lighting. Sleeps 11 guests. Located 20 minutes from Loudonville and Millersburg. Spend a day at Ohio's largest tourist attraction- Berlin. Great for bikers (of all kinds!) and is located 2 miles from the trail head for the Holmes County Trail. Pet friendly

We were in town for a wedding at the Mohican Treehouse Resort and the home was a great alternative to staying in a treehouse. The location was great and the house clean. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. Mark was very responsive to our questions.

This is the first time we have stayed at this location. We ended up here because this year we had our little dog with us and they allow pets. The property was very peaceful and we enjoyed our stay. The apple pie they left us was so good. When we first went in I told my husband it wasn't real. I thought it was just decorative! Lol TOLD MY

For two years now my family and I have spent NYE at the Marymount Hideaway. We prefer a relaxing family evening with food and drink to bring in the new year. Marymount Hideaway is just perfect! The property and surrounding area is simply fantastic! It's 160 acres of open fields and rolling hills that we were able to hike and explore. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, us or our dog Juno who had the time of her life! The house itself is amazing with a great kitchen allowing us to prepare a wonderful NYE meal. Plenty of room to relax and sleep with a fireplace that keeps everything nice and toasty. We can't wait to come back again!

Return trip to Marymount Hideaway for a weekend getaway at Mohican. The cottage is comfortable and cozy and in a great location. We enjoyed the side porch and firepit and delicious apple pie waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. Owners are great and we can't wait to return! What a gem!

Excellent peaceful country setting for my son's and I to have a guys night out. The property is beautifully located in Holmes County and had everything we needed for a great experience. Big kitchen and living room with all the amenities and 3 bedrooms and plenty of of beds. The owners had a pleasant surprise waiting for us on our arrival, thank you! Overall this is a clean, well maintained home/property with good wifi, kitchen wares and plenty of room to facilitate a great time!

Our family absolutely loved our time at Marymount Hideaway!! Our children loved playing in the meadow and woods around the house. We enjoyed seeing the deer grazing around the house. The house was very cozy and felt like we were right at home. We enjoyed meeting Mark and learning the history of the house. We loved being out in the country and seeing the changing of the seasons as fall is quickly approaching. This is a wonderful place to stay to create wonderful memories with your family!!

We just stayed at here this past weekend and was very disappointed. The entire property needs heavy cleaning - it was very dirty. Examples of cleanliness issues: refrigerator was filthy, ceiling fan right above dining room table was coated in dust, front bedroom reeked of old dog urine, back screen door and regular door was very dirty and not cleaned (this is where germs manifest), couldn't sit on front or back porches because entire areas are dirty. No one used the shower/bathtub because it was filthy. Cleanliness is a top priority for any vacation stays and this has been the worst hotel and VRBO experience EVER. I've stayed in many cabins near Gatlinburg and the mountains - they have all been cleaned properly.

This house was perfect! We had so much fun! Loved the outside swings and horses! We spent the evening on the back porch singing and playing cards. Tight with only 1 bath but we worked it out! We forgot to right down the code to get in and there was no phone signal so tough time getting in. Right down the code before you get out there!
