Discover our pristine Citrus Heights suburban retreat, a serene escape near Sacramento. This 3-bed, 2-bath home welcomes 8 guests with kings, queen sized bed, and a pull-out couch. Enjoy a spacious open living area, a fenced backyard with seating. Brand-new kitchen essentials and appliances await. Stream on our 65" TV, grill, and dine indoors or outdoors. Our property is located in the quiet and safe suburbs in Citrus Heights. A great spot to vacation if you're looking for a family-friendly home within close distance to restaurants, activities and shopping and within reasonable distance to Downtown Sacramento. There are endless restaurants in the surrounding area, including Superb Pizza, Habit Burger, Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, Sushimono, El Tapito and so much more. We are less than 15 minutes away from both I 80 and US 50, and approximately 23 minutes from Downtown Sacramento. Auburn, filled with hiking trails, rivers, fishing, and even a waterfall is just a quick 25 minute drive up I 80. Less than 30 minutes from Sacramento International Airport, this home is in a great neighborhood for guests who want to be just outside of the Downtown life.
Guests will have access to the entire property.

The house suited us (a family of five) well for our short (two-night) stay. We especially loved the openness of the family room. One big problem, however, was that the front door didn't lock. The host warned that it was difficult to lock when leaving, but it wasn't just difficult: we couldn't get it to lock once. The one time we thought it was locked, it wasn't. So our belongings were never secure while we were out of the house. It's nice that there is laundry, but the door from the garage to the house sticks and multiple times we thought we were stuck in the garage. The house could use some touch ups and/or a house book that provides info on, for example, the hot tub, which was not on when we arrived. When I texted the host/team, we were told we could turn it on, but heating it takes 24 hours, which was about half the time we were there. It also looks like it could use a good clean, so we decided not to use it. We wished there had been some "homey" amenities like ice trays, some laundry soap, some sugar, but we recognize that not all Vrbo hosts provide these things. This house is managed by a "team," which seems to be a growing trend in Vrbo listings, which I find to be unfortunate on multiple levels. For this house, it meant that communication with the "host/team" was wonky--it took multiple asks to get an answer to a question, but they were proactive about providing check-in and check-out information.

Wonderful home. Great location. The amall touches of amenities are appreciated - toiletries, kitchen supplies. Game room was nice and loved sitting on the balcony at night. Great sunsets!

The house was relatively clean, updated kitchen and comfortable beds. Also, the property manager was great about letting us check in a little bit early. However, there were some significant downsides. One of the primary reasons I booked this property was the hot tub. The hot tub leaked significantly was pretty much unusable. On day one, the hot tub water level was down about 8 inches (4 inches below the filter intake). That tells me the water isn’t able to circulate properly for a hygienic hot tub. Hot tub was refilled, but after 3 days the water level was down 6 more inches. Other items of note/concern:- Molding in kitchen by back door was coming off. - Hot tub cover was gross (see pictures below)- Rugs were dirty and matted- Outside rugs were in sad state of disrepair - Couch reminded me of something a person pulled out of their basement. Stained. Wife scared to sit on it. - Missing bulbs and light fixture covers in bathrooms- Scum buildup in bathroom showers, including shower doors. - Weird velcro strips on living room floor. - Missing towel rack in master bath - Towel rack coming off wall in second bath- Dirt build up in corners (especially in bathrooms). Felt like I took one for the team.
