About this apartment rental

In the heart of St Malo Intra-muros, this 53m2 flat close to the beach, with wifi, can accommodate up to 6 people.
Located on the ground floor, in a quiet alleyway close to a large car park, it comprises an open-plan fitted and equipped kitchen, a living room with 2 sofas, two good bedrooms, a shower room and a separate toilet. Cleaning is included in the rental price and 4-star hotel-quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels). Your bed will be made up on arrival.

It is composed as follows:
- A beautiful living room, open-plan kitchen equipped with dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, induction hob, TV, two sofas, one of which converts into a sofa bed (trundle bed for 2 people).
- One bedroom with a 180 cm double bed that can be converted into two single beds
- One bedroom with two single beds (80x200) that can be converted into a double bed.
- Bathroom with shower, heated towel rail and washing machine.
- Separate WC.

The flat is ideally located in a quiet street. You'll be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc.

Transport
If you choose to come by car, you can park nearby in the public pay car park.

As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- St Malo Intra Muros is served by bus: lines 2 / 3 / 9.
- Nearest train station: Saint-Malo train station, about 9 minutes by car (2.5 km) - bus line 2.
- Nearest airport: Rennes airport, about 1 hour 05 minutes by car (76.3 km).
- From Place St-Vincent, there are bus and coach services to all parts of Saint-Malo, as well as to Dinard, Cancale, Dinan and Mont Saint-Michel.
- Ferries to Portsmouth, Jersey and Guernsey are available from the ferry terminal, just a 5-minute walk away.

Nearby in the area :
Bon secours beach, Porte St Pierre, with its seawater swimming pool and sailing club on the beach, at low tide you can go to the Grand Bé island where Chateaubriand's tomb is located.
All shops are within easy walking distance of the flat.

Food: Rue de l'Orme, also known as the Rue Gourmande, has some great local produce:
Butters and cheeses from Bordier, Babas from Saint-Malo, seasonal fruit and vegetables from Les 4 saisons, fresh fish from the Guinemer fishmonger, as well as numerous restaurants, such as Breizh café, Cambusier, or down the street l'Absinthe. Two supermarkets on rue St Vincent and rue de Dinan.

Restaurants and cafés:
On Place Chateaubriand, you can enjoy great seafood at Café de l'Ouest, the best burgers at Lion d'or, a Sunday lunch at Maison Générale for a feast for the eyes and taste buds (reservations recommended), and discover the friendly Cargo Culte restaurant, with a home-cooked menu of tarts, salads, tartines and soups, all decorated in a brocante style. La Duchesse Anne crêperie, a historic establishment not to be missed.

In the evening, you can choose between a Celtic atmosphere at St Patrick's, or the festive atmosphere of the belle époque. If you like cocktails, check out La Fabrique, a multitude of original cocktails. And if you prefer a nautical and sailing atmosphere, you can listen to a concert or contemplate the sea at the Cunningham or on the terrace at the Cancalais!
Visits : The town museum in one of the town's dungeons with a panoramic view of Saint Malo, the Cathedral, the tour of the ramparts, guided tours available from the tourist office at Porte St Vincent at the foot of the ramparts outside, or with the little train for a commented historical tour of the town.

    Les Lauriers "Comfortable apartment in excellent location 🙂 The apartment was in a fantastic location, right in the centre of l'intramuros but on a quiet side street. It was just a very short walk from shops, restaurants, the sea and the old ramparts. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. 🙁 The apartment could have been cleaner. The floor was quite sandy when we arrived. We had to pick up and drop back the keys somewhere quite a distance from the apartment which made our arrival with all our luggage more difficult."

    Les Lauriers "The apartment is beautiful decorated and exactly like the pictures. It's clean and very well equipped. Location is superb, right in the middle of the old town but not on a busy road/lane so still fairly quite. The apartment really feels like home when you're in it and we will definitely be back. Lots of parking options around including in the old town, but I recommend parking outside the old town in the paid parking areas along the old town walls as it's cheaper. Generally is a short walk from most of the outside parkings to the apartment."

The harbour, grocery store, restaurants are all within about a 5 minute walk. We would recommend the apartment if you are visiting St Malo.
