This high-quality thatched-roof vacation home, featuring its own dock, infrared sauna, fireplace, and rowboat, is situated in a stunning location with an unobstructed view of the Krummhörner Meeden.
This tastefully furnished Frisian house is ideal for a family of up to 6 people and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers.
GROUND FLOOR: Living and dining area with a wood-burning stove, cable TV, and a hi-fi system. KITCHEN with ceramic cooktop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and pod coffee machine. The modern, high-quality bathroom features an infrared sauna (for 2 people), shower, and toilet. From the living room, step out through the large arched window onto the terrace with a stunning view over the fields and the Eilsumer Sieltief. A second terrace is available, as well as a large garden shed where you can store any bicycles you bring along. A bedroom with a double bed is located next to the bathroom on the first floor. Blackout curtains are available in the bedrooms.
UPPER FLOOR: Master bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m × 2 m). Second bedroom with 2 single beds (0.90 m × 2 m). There is a TV in the living area and in each bedroom. Another bathroom with a shower and toilet. Utility room with a washer and dryer.
The house is designated as a smoke-free home and is equipped to be accessible for people with disabilities. Tile flooring on the first floor (with underfloor heating) and vinyl laminate flooring on the upper floor.
Starting in mid-June 2024, dogs are also welcome in this house!
From the outside, the house stands out with its thatched roof (artificial reed) and its location right on the water. Since 2022, the house has also featured a covered patio!
The house is largely equipped with fly screens and has 3 parking spaces.

With the provided Pionier rowboat (including 2 children’s personal flotation devices), you can explore the surrounding area and even row all the way to Greetsiel. (Boat availability only from April through October and subject to change).
A lovely children’s playground and horseback riding opportunities are located in the immediate vicinity.
At the highest point of the Warf in Eilsum, very close to your vacation home, stands the Eilsum Church, visible from afar. It is the only church in East Frisia with a choir tower. Lothar de Riese wrote: “For any art connoisseur, it is well worth getting to know this imposing church—which may seem far too large for a farming village to some—and its 36-meter-high bell tower.”
Inside the church is a 500-year-old copper baptismal font as well as precious 13th-century frescoes—discovered as recently as the 1970s.
The distance from Eilsum to the beautiful fishing village of Greetsiel is about 3 km. Beautifully maintained and well-signposted bike paths invite you to enjoy varied bike tours throughout Krummhörn and the surrounding area.
