About this house rental
Comfortable 4-star Frisian cottage with a wood-burning stove right on the water!
A canal runs directly behind the house (swimming and fishing available), 3 separate bedrooms (one on the first floor), 2 bathrooms (one on the first floor), 1 living room with a fireplace, dining area, and open kitchen. A washing machine and free parking are also available. Unobstructed view across the meadows. There is a garden shed for storing your bicycles.
The canal directly bordering the property connects to Greestiel and Emden; by boat in summer, and in winter, sometimes by ice skates! A rowboat and a canoe are available for your use (for a fee; boats are available only from April through October and subject to availability). One pet may be brought along upon request.
The house is located right next to the 8-person house “Wiesenblick Fenja” (22222), which is also available for rent.
The house offers free internet access (we do not guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed).
Please note that bed linens booked as an add-on will not be made up.
During the vacation season, only weekly bookings with Saturday as the changeover day are generally possible.
One pet (dog) is permitted upon request and for a fee.
For commercial bookings (technicians), a security deposit is required; please contact us for details.
The vacation home is located in charming Grimersum, a quiet fishing village near Greetsiel in East Frisia. Surrounded by green meadows and idyllic waterways, the location offers the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying nature. Bicycle and hiking trails wind through the expansive countryside and along the typical East Frisian canals, inviting you to take leisurely excursions. The popular harbor town of Greetsiel, with its twin windmills, small shops, and restaurants, is just a few minutes’ drive away. An ideal location to experience authentic East Frisia and enjoy the proximity to the North Sea.
You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterward for a fee.
