Leo’s Lodge is located right in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, along the Blue Trail (Sentiero Azzurro), in the hamlet of Prevo, halfway between Corniglia and Vernazza, at the highest and most impressive spot (208 m above sea level) with breathtaking sea views.

At Leo’s Lodge, you’ll find art, history, local culture, unspoiled nature, breathtaking views of the sea, and the chance to truly experience “la Dolce Vita.”

Leo’s Lodge is a rural stone house built 400 years ago and protected by UNESCO, adapted for adventurous travelers.
It is located atop a cliff that juts out into the sea, facing south.
All around are olive trees and fruit trees, vineyards, and other Mediterranean vegetation.

The Lodge has been renovated with taste and simplicity, striving to preserve its historical roots as much as possible.

Leo’s Lodge is accessible on foot and by car.
You’ll have two parking spots in our private parking lot, located 50 meters from the house.
When possible, subject to our availability, we offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the Corniglia train station for check-in and check-out.

Leo’s Lodge features one bedroom, the Shark Room, with its own bathroom and kitchenette, as well as a large garden with a barbecue and wood-fired oven.

FUN FACT

. Leo’s Lodge owes its name to Leo, my heroic dog: he saved me on October 25, 2011, during the flood that claimed nine lives. For this, he won the International Award for Canine Loyalty, and his story was featured in newspapers and on television around the world.

Leo’s Lodge is surrounded by nature. Wild animals such as wild boars, foxes, rodents, and other animals are regular inhabitants of this area.

There are no particular problems as long as you follow the norms of rural life, but if rural life isn’t for you and you aren’t adaptable, it’s better to book a room in one of the villages.
We’ll do our best to make your stay in our home as relaxing and comfortable as possible, but life in the countryside has its own pros and cons.

+ IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION: Bring mosquito spray with you!
As is the case throughout Italy and in the Mediterranean region, there are many insects in the Cinque Terre: mosquitoes, bees, wasps, sand flies, and more.
You shouldn’t have any major problems if you use mosquito spray before sunset and during the night (and during the day if you’re allergic).
We recommend products containing Picaridin, a biocide, such as Autan Family Care or Autan Tropical.
We advise against using repellent candles: in these areas, they are not very effective, if at all.
Please note that there are no mosquito nets in the rooms.
