Appartement Vue Mer a Deux pas de la Plage

Las vistas son espectaculares y las camas son bastante cómodas. Cerca de la playa y de restaurantes y pequeños supermercados. Tener plaza de parking, pese a que hay que maniobrar, es un plus en la zona, puesto que es difícil aparcar. Como dato a tener en cuenta, efectivamente no te comunicas con el propietario, sino con un agente inmobiliario, el cual en nuestro caso fue amable y respetuoso.

A la llegada debes acudir a la agencia inmobiliaria donde te dan la info, las llaves y una bolsa enorme con las sábanas y toallas. Teniendo en cuenta que está en la zona de calles peatonales es bastante incómodo cargar con esa bolsa tremenda y pesada, además de tener que hacer camas tú mismo y añadir ese bulto a los demás que debes subir a pie 3 plantas. El menaje de cocina no estaba limpio. Por fortuna hay un pequeño lavavajillas, así que fui a comprar pastillas y tuve que poner 3 lavavajillas para tener limpio lo imprescindible. Tuvimos el infortunio de tener un familiar muy próximo en sus últimos días de vida, por lo que solicitamos cancelar o al menos modificar la reserva adelantando la salida y que nos hicieran el abono de las noches que no podríamos disfrutar, a lo que, pese a estar en pleno agosto con un lleno total en los alojamientos de la zona y haber avisado 2 días antes de la entrada (el apartamento se hubiera alquilado por otros usuarios segurísimo), el propietario se negó rotundamente. Un detalle que muestra la escasa humanidad y gran fin lucrativo del propietario, puesto que pagamos la estancia íntegra pese a no disfrutarla totalmente. Si volvería a reservar? No. El apartamento es correcto y en buena zona, pero la falta de limpieza y la falta de empatía del propietario pese al elevado importe que pagas por noche me inclinan hacia no repetir.

Wonderful location, overlooked the sea and close to beautiful Canyelles Beach. The apartment was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and spotless bedding. The other residents were respectful and quiet; very family oriented.

The bathroom light was broken and we had to keep it on permanently disturbing sleep.The lighting, in general, is incredibly bright and you cannot relax and read in bed because the lamps are on the same circuit and illuminated the entire bedroom. We travelled by train and had three heavy suitcase; no idea that we had to carry heavy bags up 4 flights of stairs! Initially I thought I was dealing with the owner on the messaging application. Very surprised to find out on the day traveling it was a letting agent. We were so upset and disappointed with our treatment. I advised the contact we were arriving very late on a Sunday night. Initially he was kind and gave the address of the apartment and explained to an elderly taxi driver, who didn’t know Roses, how to get there. It was 11 pm and the driver got upset and cross. I tried calling the agent who became very irate with me and kept hanging up and telling me to message. I had no signal on my phone, the taxi was on a meter and up to $70 euros. The apartment number was given as 58 actually 57! I was in tears with zero support. He should have driven 10 minutes to find us and help.The agency claim to speak multiple languages and clearly couldn’t communicate in English or allowing me to try and get my point across in French hence needing to translate my messages via the Booking.com application. A French couple witnessed our distress and helped us locate the apartment. The agent handed me bedding therefore, at 11 pm, I am making up beds. Why didn’t the cleaner do this earlier? We asked for help connecting the Wi-Fi and only received defensive and unhelpful messages. It took us a week to get on line.The agent was late at check out; I messages because we needed to leave, sent me a picture of his car blocked in by another vehicle. We had to leave the keys with the cleaner. The taxi driver commented, in Spanish, how bad the letting agent is. I will never book with this agent again.
