Le Boileau - Apartment for 4 people parking and balcony CLOSE to the Lake

Wonderful location – only a three minute walk to the lake and Plage D’Albigny. Helpful to have a washing machine and a balcony. You could see the mountains from the balcony, which was nice.

It offers free parking, but there are about 80 places for about 250 flats. You have to be quite strategic going out at 7am to secure a parking space when someone goes to work. Otherwise, you need to pay to park round the corner in the public car park. The information describes a very large double bed, but it was a fairly average sized one. Booking.com said we could arrive from 4pm but the local agency couldn’t let us in till 6:15 pm and the key didn’t work so we ended up being let in at 7:30pm when the supermarket shut at 8pm. We daren’t buy food as we didn’t know if we would be able to get in. There were no knives to eat with in the property and we sent three texts and two emails and still no knives arrived, and nor were we give them the go-ahead to buy some and be refunded. Spreading butter with a serrated steak knife isn’t easy!

Wifi werkte niet..en ook het weer was helaas niet al te best tijdens ons verblijf in mei, maar daar kan de host niks aan doen natuurlijk!

Emplacement un peu distant du centre ville mais accessible et relativement calme. Appartement traversant plus bruyant côté rue en fin de semaine.

Relativement bien équipé, télé peu de programmes accessibles. Commerces de proximité un peu limité

Clean, calm ,well equipped, close to market, has a good view and close to lake.

No private parking for the apartment and it is really hard to catch a place to park over there.
