Nice hostel

Nice hostel in centre of Montenegro. Comfortable beds and felt safe

Wasn't an issue for me but you don't get a key or a vice - the place is publicly open until midnight and then locked after then, so plan accordingly

Okay

The location is quite nice, it’s walkable to almost everywhere in the city. Even the bus terminal.

Cash only payments. There’s no locker that can store the valuable things and lock, so it lacks of safety. The smell of bedding.

Great location and large room. Fine for a night.

Beds were super squeaky. Not the cleanest and the owner was awkward at times. For example, I changed my bed as he put me directly under another person (there were only two of us in the room) and he seemed annoyed that I changed beds without telling him. No where to put your things in the bathroom downstairs (such as hooks)

Nice place , but need some rules.

The location is prefect , the staff it was friendly .

Disturbance in the sleeping area, guests talking on the phone and to each other loudly while others are sleeping, You can't control the light, anyone can turn it on or off without bothering to ask others, and the air conditioning is the same. The place is good but lacks some rules for guests.

Awesome location

The location is right in the center of the city so everything is super close. There is a kitchen to cook simple stuff and a very good tea. I extremely enjoyed my stay because it was that close to everything interesting in the city.

The location is excellent, close to all points of interest in Podgorica, and the anditrion was very friendly and willing to help with everything, from services to information.

Okay for a very short stay.

The host, John, was very nice. The location was great. The room and bed were fine.

The facilities were underwhelming. The electric socket was hanging over the bed and sparked when I connected my charger. No towels were provided. The toilet did not have stands for toiletries. Not well ventilated or lit. No doormats outside the toilet. Most importantly, no lockers for valuables. I had to carry everything when I went outside. Maybe some of these are mentioned on the website, and I did not pay attention. But most of these things are usually expected in a dormitory.

Basic hostel in the heart of Podgorica

The location is awesome,

After midnight, it’s not possible to leave the hostel and obviously, you can’t enter either. Overall, the hostel isn’t bad. The owner is friendly, but he should take better care of the place. This hostel has the potential to be better, but currently, it feels like it’s just used for a quick overnight stay.”

Hostel in the center

The location is central, 3 minutes walk from the main square, and inside the old Podgorica, convenient place for walking exploration of the city. It is a simple hostel in the centre. Perhaps a slight difficulty is that there is only one bathroom on the floor and one has to wait when it is occupied.

The bathroom was dirty, there was mold everywhere. The kitchen was also dirty, there was trash on the counter and the floor. There was no locked closet in the rooms (at least there wasn’t any in my room) so, it doesn’t feel safe. The room was freezing, there was a little heater but it doesn’t help at all. They don’t give you any keys to get in the hostel and they close the main door at midnight, so you can’t get inside or go outside after 00:00. And you can’t get out until 8 in the morning. Also I don’t think it’s quite safe that the main door is always open between 8 to 00. Anyone can get in to the building whenever they want since the reception is not located near the entrance. The place is about 25-30 minutes away from the center by foot.

Simply great

I had actually booked elsewhere but that turned out to be a disaster. Though I was a last minute guest and I woke him up from deep sleep, John was ever so courteous and helpful. He was always there attending to our comfort. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you John.

The cheapest decent-ish night's stay in Podgorica center, and it shows. And even the price went up.

Not my first time staying here; The location is very nice if you have things to do in Podgorica or need to stay the night (preferably just one). It gets the job done, and the host is nice and hospitable. There's a kitchen with tea/coffee, a fridge, and the potential for a nice chat with other travellers (it's a hostel after all). If you need your things washed or a shower, you could do that, but it's probably not the most convenient place to do so.

It's not particularly tidy, or at least that's the feeling you get because all the furniture and furnishings are very old and tired — the faucet barely works, the bathroom begs for a renovation, almost everything is worn down. As many others said, the are no lockers of any kind for your valuables. I might even trust the owner, but I certainly wouldn't trust all the random guests. The price has almost doubled since I stayed here last year, at which point even for a solo traveller, it's almost always worth adding a bit more for a private room/apartment/house. For 2 or more people, it's a no-brainer to go elsewhere, of course.

The hostel is very clean and has a very wide space, and also the host is very friendly. You can cook here and laundry in the hostel. The location is very good, walking to the square is very easy, the city is not very large.

Nothing!. Just location is ok.

It's not safe at all. No lockers, you can't keep your valuables safe. I can't prove it but I have a very high doubt that a man stole my money from my wallet when I was showering.

Good place for solo travelers on budget

A very friendly host full of good advice on what to see and what to do. It's a good place for solo travelers who have a plan. Walking distance from the bus station (15 min) and from the city centre (10 min)

There was no internet and electricity at 4am (I was leaving really early) and the front door was closed during the night (it's necessary to know your plan ahead so the owner will open the door earlier/later.)

Nice Staff and Location, but my experience wasn't good

The owner is very nice and the location is perfect.

Was REALLY HOT and the A.C in our room wasn't working, so was like a sauna.. was impossible to sleet on the 2 first nights, so I asked to the owner to change my room and he accepted. The cleaning could be better.

The host was very kind. He gave me a different room for the same price so I felt safer as a solo female traveller. The beds were comfortable, nice balcony, lots of power outlets. The hostel is well located, 15 min walk to the bus station and 10 min to the square and river

The ground floor was for lease so it almost looked deserted when I arrived late at night. The bathrooms were dirty and the shower head was broken. There were no locks on the room doors (so no keys) & beds super loud.
