A bit on the outside of town but a fine walk/plenty of buses.

Tons of useful information from the host, nice common spaces, well-stocked kitchen. Close to grocery store and bakeries.

Be aware of daily cleaning that limits access to rooms, and common room closes at midnight. Definitely an older, more chill hostel.

Great place to stay for young people

Excellent, friendly service. Warm welcomes and no issues in handling special requests. Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful yard and hangout area. Typical hostel social spaces.

Our bed was somewhat uncomfortable - no big deal.

Highlight of Podgorica, Highly Recommend!

Everything! Fantastic room with balcony. Garden, pool, kitchen and overall cleanliness! Supermarket and bus stop nearby. Quiet at night. Great place to stay and explore national parks (we only did Skadar Lake) or just relax and recover from travel fatigue. Pancakes in the evenings were a splendid idea. Daniel and the volunteers were lovely and helpful, everyone really friendly. Cool cats and turtle. Quirky decoration that made the space unique. Thank you Magdalina (or Madalena?) and family for all the suggestions and for running such a cool hostel! Would definitely be back.

Even better than described!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The hostel is so well thought out, with all the little touches to make it feel like home. Facilities are kept spotless and common areas are comfortable and welcoming. Magdelina was a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations, plus the other guests were respectful and kind, we wish we could have stayed longer.

I absolutely loved the common area!

I absolutely loved the common area! There's a big backyard for sports, a terrace with tables for working, and several kitchen zones. It’s the kind of place where you just want to stay all day and not leave. The host, Magdalena, is super friendly and helped me with everything – she also gave great tips about the city. There are also fun evening activities like pancake nights and pub crawling

It might seem a bit far from the center – about a 30-minute walk – but there are buses, so it’s not really a problem

Fav hostel of my trip so far

Everything! Staff is friendly, helpful. The hostel is in a calm area but not too far from the center. You have several supermarkets and an ATM super close (3min). The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. I would recommend booking several nights and visit Montenegro from there as it is quite central.

Amazing place to stay. Comfortable and spacious rooms with so much shared space in the common area and garden. Hammocks, plenty of toilets and showers and cooking facilities that were kept in very clean condition. A short distance from the centre of town, but that just meant it was peaceful. Conveniently around the corner from the supermarket. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Warm, colourful, beautiful stay

Beautiful stay! Owner was lovely and so friendly and so many cats. Beautiful garden with so many different seating areas, a cooking and cleaning station, toilets and hammocks. The rooms are fantastic, fridges, sinks, toilet access. Truly a wonderful place. Complimentary cookies, tea, coffee and sweets. Huge lockers and power port with a shelf next to the bed. Close to the local city bus stop and supermarket.

Great value for money, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic decor and facilities 5 stars...

I really loved the decor of the hostel. I never met the owners but they really thought about the layout of the facilities. REally friendly and helpful staff, the bed was really comfortable and the hostel was cosy as it was cold outside. I really liked that I could buy a beer at the hostel and it was very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again, well priced and you shouldn't hesitate to book.

Honestly nothing, the email they sent after I booked regarding how to get to the hostel was excellent, again it's a hostel so you have to compromise on shared spaces and rooms but otherwise you would book a hotel room so I can't even think of even one suggestion on how they could improve...

Exceded all expectations.

It’s unbeatable for that price. Aside from the basics (i.e. bathrooms, beds, common areas) being super well maintained and so lovingly decorated, the Hostel offers so many little extras that make your stay a 10/10. Free sweets and snacks, free coffee and tea, a clean towel, etc. the beds are super comfortable and you meet the loveliest people who all relish in the location as much as you do. Honestly nothing bad to say about Hostel Q. It’s the best in all of Podgorica.

It’s a bit far from the center, but still easy to get around by taxi, bus, or walk. You won’t find the nightlife right out the door, but it’s still close enough to explore the city.

Happy place

There are no words to explain the energy of this place. I love it so much. It's always so clean and it smells nice. Kitchen, livingroom area and the garden are full of amazing details. Rooms are comfortable and toilets are equipped with all you need and more. I really recommend to take breakfast here. IT'S AMAZING.

Good hostel but not so good location

The hostel has great views and plenty of space outside for enjoying the sunshine. the hostel is clean, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The was some cool guests i was able to hang out with. the is a supermarket right by it, and it is in a good location to go hiking but that is the only advantage in the location. The is some free Turkish coffee to drink and candy to snack on. It has some good cooking facilities in the kitchen and offers a breakfast in the morning (never had), but if you do not cook or have the breakfast then you will starve, as there are no fast-food places or restaurants near by

The room I paid for advertised a flat screen Tv. My room did not have one. I think other rooms may have had one. my room was up many stairs and had to go through a dormitory to get to it, which was pitch black dark and had people staying in it. there are no black out curtains or blinds so you will need to bring some eye masks if you like darkness to sleep. My shower did not work properly so had to go all the way down the stairs and around the back of the garden to use the showers on the outside. If you want to go into the actual city of Podgorica, then you need to factor in 30 minutes of walking or a few extra euros for taxi fare. Its location is nice and quiet in the countryside but the is a rooster non-stop crowing all morning long. After all this criticism I actually do recommend staying here as it is a bit unique in its own ways.
