Fantastic place, hidden in plain sight!

The location was perfect! Easy to walk to so many downtown Asheville destinations. Parking was easy, either on the street in front of the apartment or in the Sears Alley deck, which was $12 for 24 hours and only a 3-minute walk. All needed amenities are available. The bed and furniture are comfy. Old building with lots of character and updated modern appliances and furniture. Sound machines drowned out external noise from the city. We will be back!

None of these are a big deal but: A couple parts of the old floor slant, it takes awhile for the temperature to regulate since it's an old structure, too much to do!

Location was fantastic! A little tricky to find but hosts were incredibly detailed in directions to Lofts. It is a gorgeous home conveniently located and walking distance to everything and trolly fit touring. Absolutely perfect!!!!

So minor but would’ve love a box of of tissues in bathrooms.

Next time in Asheville I’ll stay in a hotel

Convenient location. Very clean. Easy for my sister to smoke next door at the bar’s outdoor patio. Good linens, towels, showers.

There was only one small window 🪟 in n the front bedroom. The lack of natural light was a real negative for me (possibly not for others). The flat was ridiculously designed and not at all cozy. The flat itself was clean, but the foyer and exter Entry were not well maintained. The gate latch was sticky. Area around trash cans poor and uneven walkway.

Location is exceptional if you’re looking to shop or go to the breweries.

It was hard to find the front door and then confusing how to get to the front door. Opening the door the first time was confusing. We couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in from the shower or bathroom sink. Faucets were confusing.

Cozy apartment when not in a hurry to go anywhere

Master bedroom and bathroom was comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was all upgraded to the latest design. Even though we brought our own supplies with us, the minimum of what you need like sugar, coffee, pots, pans, etc was already provided. Bathing soap and supplies were also provided.

The balcony It was unappealing, no decoration, and bird crap residue on the deck. Poor lighting. The room was said it accommodated 4 people, I don’t know how. Two people were enough. The process of getting into your apartment. The information provided by both Vrbo/Booking and the building management company to get into the apartment was very confusing. The communication by email and phone support could have been much better as information from both was contradictory.

The Lofts at 16 Church Street are one of our favorite places to stay. We will definitely return!

The location of these lofts is perfect. We have stayed in all 3 lofts for this reason. Within walking distance to so much, short drive to other attractions. Easy parking close to loft. Coffee maker didn't work properly, but was immediately replaced once reported...Thank you!

Since this was the first leg of our journey, we had packed with the expectation of having a working washer and dryer. As a result, an entire morning of one of our excursion days was spent at the laundromat. Communication around the issues they have been having with the washer and dryer prior to our stay would have been helpful.

Plumbing and Security Issues

The location was great. Close to everything.

The house smelled musty. The toilets didn't work properly. There was only one key. The lock box could be opened without a password. There was mold in one of the showers. The communication about being asked to vacate because of sewage problems was terrible. Alternative accommodations for us were never found.
