Good location.

The photographs shown in the listing might be 10 years old, and did not look like what we found, because the actual apartment is rather run down. Clean, yes, but the front of the building and the stairway hall are in desperate need of paint and lighting--both are very shabby. I found the apartment cramped, very much like the hostels I used to stay in, and my companion did not like the smell. Note: I ran a hostel for 4 years, and I can tell that the owners aren't particularly invested in the overall experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are prepared for student accommodations. Overpriced--we came and saw the place and decided not to stay, then found much less expensive accommodations within two blocks. I spoke with management when we made that decision, and they were unwilling to give even a partial refund, even though we had booked three nights and left it the way we found it. I've asked a friend of mine in Asheville to send pictures of the outside, as it never occurred to me to take a picture as we were leaving. Perhaps this can be attached later.

Old claw bathtub is neat, but not ideal for showering. Other than that, everything was excellent.

A few days in the beautiful town staying in the charming place.

We loved the location. It is within walking distance from all attractions of downtown. The studio is beautiful, nicely decorated and equipped with all we needed, including the kitchen. It has a special charm and we felt special, as if it belonged to us for a couple of days. Perfect place for introverts.
