A fantastic hotel with staff to match, we had a wonderful stay.

Just finished a fantastic stay with my wife at this wonderful hotel. All the staff are a joy, so friendly and helpful and Fabio warrants special mention for his generous assistance to us. The whole hotel is stylish and well appointed and the rooms and beds are comfortable. Housekeeping visit twice a day and the bedroom was kept spotless. The gym, which is air conditioned, is small but fitted with good quality equipment including a bike, treadmill and Pilates reformer. The breakfast, served in a small restaurant overlooking the pool, starts with croissant and breads followed by eggs, pancakes and healthy bowl courses, all accompanied by good coffee. It makes for a great start to the day. Highly recommended hotel.

WiFi in the gym is flakey resulting in failure to connect to the iFIT App which controls the bike. It would be great to get this fixed.

A truly magnificient gem on top of Oia, not to be missed and definitely to come back to.

This is an amazing hotel full of charm, with a very helpful and efficient staff. From the arrival to our departure, we were met with high professionalism and kindness, making our stay in Santorini more enjoyable than we would have hoped. The hotel, from its beautiful architecture, splendid room design and comfort has everything anyone could ask for. The breakfast options were sumptuous, the sunlounge areas sidepool were very well organized, with impeccable service. The hotel is located in a beautuful area of Oia, full of small streets and shops and next to some must-see places. We had a great time at the nearby restaurants and took some amazing pictures. The room was really comfortable and full of excellent amenities, it truly was a magnificent stay.

There is absolutely nothing we did not like about our stay at Hom Santorini, except that we would have liked to spend more nights there, that we will be sure to do in a future visit.

Lovely hotel with amazing view

The view was perfect, and the breakfast menu was very satisfying. The room service was also delightful. The rooms and common areas were clean. It was a very enjoyable holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Underwhelming and disappointing

Lovely main pool area. Very quiet. Room service breakfast is well executed. Helpful reception staff.

Our “deluxe suite with outdoor hot tub and sea view” was disappointing - dark, poky and cluttered with the hot tub “area” and loungers located directly on a main walkway and in all-day shade (compared with the main website photos which show a light, airy, sunny and spacious room ). Open plan bathroom which surprised us for US$750+ a night and zero privacy given all windows (with no curtains or blinds) looked out onto the main walkway (are you expected to close all the exterior shutters to shower?). No where to sit outside in the evening for a drink or snack - bartender shrugged when I asked where I could have a drink and enjoy the view before our dinner in Oia (I understood from other reviews they moved the poolside loungers in the evening to set up tables, but this didn’t happen). Stay at one of the more established names in Oia or one of the larger, newer hotels in Imerovigli instead (or at least ask for photos of your exact room beforehand).

The location. The amazing crew. The view. The hidden gem “boutique hotel” feeling while it is in my view definitely a 5-star quality hotel in terms of service and quality of accommodation.

The breakfast options can be better. Can include more good old choices like English breakfast.

The perfect hidden gem

Perfect location , a 5 min walk to the town of Oia where you will find all the restaurants and shops . The walk down to the hotel is very short and you get help with your luggage from the kind gentlemen that works there . Everything from the location to the breakfast to the pool area to the rooms was impeccable, couldn’t had asked for anything more . Everyone from the front desk to the bar area to maintenance was very kind and welcoming . You might not be able to catch the full sunset here but everything is a short walk to the town so we didn’t mind at all . Perfect couples hotel , very relaxing and quiet - and the views are out of a picture perfect book ( unbelievable) . We would stay here again and again.

very romantic stay to treat yourselves to, highly recommend

very large rooms with private jacuzzi on the balcony. the view was 10/10, absolutely breathtaking. the hotel was very very clean and very modern whilst remaining the private feel amongst the town full of different hotels. the staff were always jumping to help whenever they could but also gave us enough space to ourselves. breakfast menu was simple but elevated and really delicious and hotel was only a 5 minute walk away from the main town full of shops and restaurants.

the gym was poorly equipped and the jacuzzi on the balcony was way too hot for the heat of greece, we burnt ourselves a few times just trying to get into the hot tub because the metal heated up so much. the hotel itself was a bit pricey but honestly we would highly recommend.

A fabulous location; small boutique hotel with attentive and helpful staff. Comfortable bed! With a turn down. The delicious fresh OJ and options for breakfast. Great barista made coffee The pool! And comfortable sun loungers! Close to shops, and restaurants and sunsets

Our room was probably the smallest and didn’t have anywhere to sit outside without being in a ‘shared’ space; and while getting the cheapest room meant we could stay in a fabulous place it didn’t feel ‘value for money’ It was a ‘semi-luxurious’ cave.

High quality and convenient hotel.

Great location at edge of Oia and at the start of the hike from Oia to Fira. Very extensive and high quality breakfast . Walking distance to huge choice of restaurants . Staff extremely friendly and genuine .

There was no curtains/ shutters on the side of the room overlooking the small plunge pool attaching to the room . Airport transfer seemed a bit expensive but there is undoubtedly a Santorini premium.

Pictures don’t do it justice. Stunning location world class view. Hotel is lovely and the staff gave us the biggest welcome ever! Everyone is so nice and so helpful. We had a later flight and they allowed us to hang out at the beautiful pool for a few hours. We wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else!

Probably one of the best in Santorini, a few improvements could make the stay truly perfect.

Very polite, helpful and professional staff, new and beautiful rooms, great location (close to everything but at the same time quiet).

We booked “standard suite with a hot tub and sea view”. Probably they have a couple of these as we, unfortunately, got a room without much of any view, far from what you expect to see from the photos in the suite description. Our windows were facing a passage, with people walking by. We had to keep shades shut all the time for privacy. You need to go out of this room and up little stairs to the common pool area to see the sea. The experience could have been much better if that particular room was not sold as a sea view one. There were glass windows between the bedroom and the bathroom with no shades. It would have been nice to have a choice to make the bathroom private sometimes. Rail for hanging wet towels, swim suits etc was only inside the shower, none in the bathroom itself. I saw other guests using tables, suitcase stands for drying their clothes. A few hooks or some rail for drying would be a great addition. Also we had problems with hot water. You have to let the water run for good 10 mins to get warmer temperature, which isn’t very sustainable. Hopefully the hotel can fix this.

Exceptional stay at a lovely hotel, highly recommended

My wife and I had a lovely short stay at Hom. The hotel is lovely, views are breathtaking with ocean, caldera and sunset views (in late October 2023) with great facilities and exceptional service (porter, restaurant, housekeeping). It was pretty much brand new, we cannot fault it and would highly recommend (aside from the description of our particular room which was not accurate). Upon arrival you enter to a breathtaking view and are provided with a welcome drink and given a tour of the hotel with reception providing tips for restaurants. The porter is really kind and helpful. The hotel is relatively small with 13 rooms so is relatively peaceful. It is on the edge with no other hotels below. It is 5 minute walk from the start of the boulevard so away from the hustle bustle which is lovely. There is even a market at the entrance for any essentials. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and had every amenity including nice touches like chocolates, popcorn and a welcome fruit basket. Not sure about ironing facilities as we had our own travel options. Our room was a Standard Suite with Outdoor Hot Tub and Sea View which was nice but was not clearly described as it was based in a hallway, partial sea views at best with one having to leave the room to use the hot tub so was akin to the public pool. Breakfast is delightful with an a la carte menu, we tried most things all which were delicious. The bar staff are friendly and provide exceptional attentive service. The second we were sitting on the loungers they would bring water. Breakfast in the room is available at no extra cost and is particularly nice with the views. There are lunch and dinner options and the food is to an extremely high standard albeit rather expensive (even for Santorini). The restaurant manager was a great guy and even offered to tweak the dishes and source halal meat for us which is really above and beyond. We had the Baklawa one evening which amazing and one of the best we have ever had.

Room description needs to be more accurate with a clear description provided. Front of house needs to be a bit more flexible on checkout.

Beautiful views!

The property was in a perfect location very close to the center of Oia and short cab ride to Amoudi Bay. Staff was very friendly and prompt. Location was beautiful and had the breathtaking views we were hoping for in Santorini. most restaurants were within walking distance or you could take a short cab ride if venturing further from the city center. Room was very spacious and clean.
