Wonderful stay in a fabulous location.

Very romantic. Incredible views. Unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. Loved that it was nearer the top and you didn’t have to negotiate the many flights of stairs you hear about with other properties.

Wish the hot tub temperature could be adjusted. It wasn’t very warm, so we only used it once briefly.

Avoid this hotel, it is overpriced and the management is terribly arrogant!

Actually, because of the experiences I had there, I didn't like anything about this accommodation!

There was a terrible loud machine noise in the room, it was impossible to sleep next to it! When we complained and wanted to ask for a refund for the unjustifiably high price for this hotel, they started threatening us! They harassed us with the police, with constant harassment, so that we would not dare to write bad things about the hotel! They intimidated us and the owner tried to force us to report me to the police with false messages! The treatment of guests is terrible and it seems that the staff is also intimidated! Choose another hotel, because there are so many beautiful places on the island!

The property was beautiful! Right in Oia, the best part of Santorini. The service was beyond. Only 6 suites which allows them to give you a very attentive and special service. Sonia was amazing and super attentive to our needs, gave us great recommendations and booked everything we needed. Can’t recommend them enough. Will definitely return.

A wonderful place that just needs a few easy tweaks to be brilliant.

Beautiful location and style and quality of accommodation. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after and were very efficient and helpful in every way.

Nowhere to put clothes that weren't hanging so we lived out of the suitcase. A box of tissues would have been good in the room. The hotel has no bar so a few wine glasses and water glasses and a corkscrew would have been really useful. Breakfast was delicious and on the terrace, but the next room was only a low wall away and so it became quite awkward with the neighbours who couldn't have any privacy.. same for sunbathing.

Incredible hospitality and a beautiful place to stay!

I booked this for one night as a surprise for my boyfriend, and we both could not have been more happy with the stay. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome by the amazing Helena, and were even lucky enough to be upgraded (again - a huge thank you for this!). A particular highlight (although it is hard to single things out as everything was incredible) of the stay was the amazing view and pool, and the gorgeous breakfast brought to your room when you desire. We loved every single aspect of this stay and will definitely be back for longer in future.

Abyss is a beautiful spot in Oia. The room was amazing, really big and comfortable with a patio and stunning view of the Caldera. The service was excellent and the breakfast delivered to the room was amazing. Highly recommend!

Good but wouldn’t come back.

Clean. Maids were there several times a day. Staff were helpful. Great view. Food was very good.

Zero privacy. Despite being told the glass had privacy film, you could see right into the shower area. People kept taking pictures on the roof of the other hotel right in front of our shower area. It was very uncomfortable. Extremely expensive. Everything from the taxis to Fira cost no less than $80 euros each way to the food in town.

Cave Dwelling at it’s best!!

Location was superb, great facility with private pool and amazing views. The hosts were attentive to our requests and even allowed us a late check out, recommended restaurants and arranged a sunset catamaran cruise for us. We highly recommend Abyss!

A turly exceptional unique experience

Abyss is total perfection! The rooms are luxurious and beautifully designed. The view from the room and pool is breathtaking. The location is close to the main area of Oia for convenience, but without being overlooked by tourists and it’s totally peaceful. Breakfast served to your balcony is a bonus too! Costas and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. The staff really make you feel special and go above and beyond to make everything perfect during your stay. We took their recommendations for dinner reservations and they made the bookings for us. From the best seats at Ammoudi bay to truly authentic, unique places away from the tourist traps, we really got to experience the best of Oia! Would highly recommend Obyss for couples wanting a unique and luxury stay and would love to come back!

Best of the best, we will definitely stay here when we return!

From the moment we arrived the staff was kind and courteous. The room and the view were absolutely breathtaking, I can’t imagine staying at a property better than Abyss. We stayed in a honeymoon suite and had a private plunge pool. It was large and we ended up spending a great amount of time here, relaxing and taking in the incredible view. I loved the location of the property, it felt like a quiet and less populated spot than those rooms further North of it. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. We were also able to meet the owner of the property and he was delightful! The front desk hooked us up with a dinner table with the best view of my life to watch the sunset on the whole island.

Our AC wasn’t working well one night but the staff was so quick to fix the issue and we were so comfortable for the rest of our stay. We also had some noisy neighbors from the property beside us, we called the front desk and they remedied the situation within ten minutes. You’ll always have hiccups and I imagine these issues are. I’m in among the island but the willingness of the staff to fix any issues should be a major draw for anyone. 5 star property and staff!

It’s like paradise! Views, atmosphere and location are perfect! Just walking distance from main tourist attraction. Elena at the reception was so kind and friendly. We had too many request but she managed to solve all of them and we highly appreciate her help and support. I definitely recommend this hotel for romantic couples.

Great hotel in Santorini with easily fixed flaw

This is a very nice Boutique Hotel and everything is great, the pool the service the location the views - but there is just one serious flaw and that is the slippery bathroom area where water does get everywhere. I nearly slipped and I feel it can be dangerous especially for older guests. Some reviews have pointed this out also and I think it's an easy fix to place a rubber mat of some sort to fix the safety issue. Probably they want to preserve the interior look which is nice indeed but safety should be first.

The location is just at the entrance of the Oia shopping street. Very friendly Manager, Costa and his assistance Elena and Sonia. They all gave us the best restaurant’s recommendation. Always making sure we are ok. And the view from the hotel is magnificent.

I liked each and everything about this place. we booked honeymoon suite and it was just perfect with the best view. very near from all the famous spot. staff was just perfect and I am vegan so they took extra efforts to cook some special vegan dishes for breakfast just for me.❤️❤️

Superb

We had a one night stay at this new and modern hotel - unfortunately - and stayed in a junior suite with outdoor tub and caldera view which was heaven on earth. It is situated in a quiet area which we preferred. The suite was open plan, spacious and the interior modern and tastefully decorated and also smoke free and sound proof. What we in particular loved was the bluetooth Bang and Olufsen speaker in the room to play music. Our room also had free WiFi and Internet. The open plan shower worked fantastic and the towels and toiletries were great. As the hotel does not have a restaurant we were provided a good breakfast on our balcony. Many shops and restaurants are within walking distance, but you can also catch a taxi. It was also very convenient that the hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel overlooked one of the best views of the Caldera with amazing sunsets. The hotel staff had been exceptional with their hospitality which made this trip ever so more memorable, many thanks to Aristea for ensuring all our needs were met, no request turned down! A special thanks to Kostas for making our stay comfortable and upgrading our room free of charge. 10/10 and will be certainly be staying here again 😊
