Castle View - Home from Home

We stayed for 3 nights. 2 adults and 1 tween. Castle View suited our needs perfectly. We had a hire car with easy parking right next to the accommodation. The photos on booking.com are exactly as you'll find the apartment. So very homely after long days exploring the region. Some handy welcome goodies were waiting in the fridge. A very nice touch. It is not in the very centre of town which is exactly what we wanted. Stirling was very easy to get around by car and provided a good base to explore the highlands to Loch Lomond and on to Fort Williams returning a different route. We also used the park and ride buses through town. Would happily stay again.

Nothing

This little place was wonderfully located, and having bread, butter, and jam was a godsend. I was there for a 40th birthday party. The apt was a less than 10 minute drive to everything I needed. I was even able to cook and have friends over for dinner. Don't be put off having the train so close. You barely hear it and only with the windows open. It was so quiet. The green space next door with people walking their dogs was a beautiful sight daily.

The stairs made it tough to bring up a big suitcase. Just go slowly and you'll be fine.

Muy cómodo. Amplio y luminoso. Y muy acogedor. Tuvieron muchos detalles, como dejar algunas cosas para poder desayunar el primer día de llegada. Además de otros detalles como adaptadores , para quienes vienen de otros países . El baño muy cómodo y amplio.

Por decir algo, quizás que no hubiese algo cerca para comprar y que con las ventanas abiertas se escuchan pasar los trenes muy seguido. Aunque no es algo insoportable,

Joanne and Mick were awesome hosts . Really appreciated the welcome goodies; butter , jams , bread and milk . The view from apartment is great . Awesome having a parking spot too . Kitchen and bathroom tick all the boxes . Highly recommended 👌
