Kitchen sink leaking had to

Four guests staying. When other family members met up for family meal lack of crockery. Could do for a salad/l bowl to be provided. Only four cereal / pasta bowls therefore a few more to accommodate. Felt a bit lacking in Crockery/ cooking trays/ utensils etc. Lounge could sometimes bit more light perhaps another table light and another serviceable to accommodate drinks etc while sitting.

Can't say enough good things about this lovely house

This house was wonderful. Can't beat the amazing view of Wallace monument from the front window. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, all the kitchen essentials for cooking, washing machine. We had everything we needed! Host was so kind and helpful when I couldn't find the property (totally my sat nav's fault as it is pretty hard to miss!) Short walking distance to a nice restaurant, fish&chip carry out, pub and a Spar for groceries.

Located on a somewhat busy street, so there is some road noise. We all slept fine though

I felt there could have been more dishes so it wasn't necessary to wash a few times a day. One dishwasher tablet left and one washing machine bubble Seriously needs either a tumble dryer or washing line in backyard, nearly impossible to dry clothes on an airer in Scotland!! No salt or pepper shakers in house - we travelled from Australia, not things you usually travel with.

Short stay in Stirling

The house is quaint and homely and suited our needs perfectly.

The house was very cold even with the heating on it was a struggle to stay warm unfortunately the fire didn't appear to be working either.

Perfect location and property in every way !

The property was immaculate. Well kept and equipped up till the most minute detail. Fresh roses on tables and even a cute welcome pack and card. Well equipped kitchen with appliances . Comfortable bedrooms and beds. One bedroom overlooking the Wallace Monument. An exceptionally well heated cosy sitting & dining room. Great parking space and even a small back yard. Great location, 5 mins from centre and 5 mins from Stirling University. To mention that the host replied to any questions immediately and courteously. We hope we shall be back.

Lovely home with amazing views in a great location.

The location was even more lovely than I expected. The views were spectacular. It was good to have our own driveway and some garden space. Inside, the furnishings were lovely: well colour coordinated, stylish and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept incredibly well.

An Cozy Home

The home was cozy, and there was a good amount of space. The beds were warm, with clean white linens, the pillows varied in firmness. The dishwasher made clearing up easy.

It wasn't particularly easy to get the fire to heat the living room. The mirror in the shower was strange.

Superb

Everything was amazing! We had a welcome greeting card and some cakes too! It had a really great, calm ambience and amazing view of the Wallace Monument from the living room. All the cutlery and facilities were beyond our expectations.

Only downside is that the toilet and bathroom were together so it was bit more difficult for the 6 of us to manage.

A comfortable home from home.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Old Police House. The house was comfortable and very clean and in a great location to visit Glasgow and the surrounding area, Off road parking is a real bonus.

Traffic noise from main road (Causewayhead) in all bedrooms until 11pm and again from 6am. Downstairs bathroom. Nowhere to hang coats

Very spacious bedrooms. Most house hold appliances. Central location to where we wanted to go.

Second bathroom is essential, especially for 6 adults. The house has the potential. The sitting room window would have been more comfortable with an additional couch at the window rather than a table and chairs which is already in the kitchen. Buy a nice house.

Comfortable house and good location. Host very friendly and answered questions about local shops when I enquired. Biscuits and 1 litre milk in the fridge for us coming which was very much appreciated :)

Lovely property with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Great double beds, very comfortable. Great quality light but warm duvets. Smashing location for us..walked up Ben Cleauch and Ben Even one day then Wallace monument and The Kelpies the next

Just a minor point...as there is a dishwasher, thank goodness, it would be good to have more crockery and cups etc so you didn’t have to wash any by hand.

Great stay and friendly owners

This house is in a great location for Stirling. The bedrooms are big and there is enough space for the whole family. The garden is also nice for children.

There is only one bathroom which is downstairs, an extra toilet would make this property perfect.

Very pleasant and clean accommodation. Really nice area, and we felt quite safe when out and about.

Location was perfect for us. One block away from Co-Op for anything you may need, lovely cafe with fish & chip shop 3 minute walk away and Stephens bakery round the corner. A nice quiet area with a pleasant walk to the Birds and the Bees pub for a nice meal. You are able to see Wallace Monument from the lounge window, and its just a short walk up the road. Lovely clean property and nice comfy beds.

Wonderful location. Just outside the city but near enough to visit. Walking distance to Wallace Monument and well worth the visit. Lovely clean area with the Co Op store a block away for necessities, pub, fish & chips and a bakery for fresh bread.

Traffic noise through the day, but it didn't spoil the visit.

Loved our last minute stay in Stirling, would recommend this house

Cosy comfortable stay in immaculate accommodation. Welcomed with flowers, fresh milk in fridge and Tunnocks tea cakes -much appreciated. We booked less than 24 hours before arrival but everything went smoothly. Easy to find and park.

Only downside was downstairs bathroom.
