comfort with a great location

great location, with lots of space. So good to have a car parking space close to the city centre. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a supermarket five minutes walk away.

Great location. Parking for one car, which is worth it's weight in Oxford! Very clean property. Easy instructions to follow provided by owner before arrival. Great shower pressure

Only one pillow provided per guest. We found bolsters in the wardrobe but these were too firm to use for sleeping so I used cushions. Otherwise good

Great place to stay in Oxford

The location was ideal as it is close enough to the city centre to walk but it was also in a very quiet neighbourhood which meant we had restful nights (even with the windows open). It's also worth noting that it's close to a shopping centre with nice rooftop restaurants so you can choose to eat out or eat in.

Central quiet flat

The house was centrally located but was extremely quiet. Julia was easy to contact.She left us a bottle of wine,crisps,cereals ,tea,coffee and milk.There was shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable.

The evenings got chilly and a small heater would have been helpful in the living room.Obviously we didn't expect the central heating to be accessible in early September. There was nowhere to hang clothes in the second bedroom. The floorboards were very creaky outside the bathroom -a challenge to go to the toilet quietly in the night!

Comms in advance were clear. Nice touch to include a bottle of wine and crisps, very quiet location.

The was a stale smell of cigarettes (I think) in the main bedroom which wasn't great. Overall it could do with a bit of updating - especially the garden.

Great location and good value for money in the Oxford area.

Absolutely great location! Oxford is a very walkable city and this property let us take full advantage. And, when it was time to leave and catch the bus to Heathrow Airport we were a five minute walk to our stop. The welcome wine and snacks were most appreciated. And the fixtures - especially the washer/dryer were good quality.

My only quibble - the kitchen could have been a little bit better equipped. A teapot and a few more serving bowls would be good. But none of these are showstoppers- just a suggestion. Maybe one more floor-standing fan?

Good location, quiet neighborhood.

Had not been cleaned when I arrived at 6 pm, even though I had communicated at noon that I had dropped off my bag. Also, the bed was small and uncomfortable. Sparse, worn out furniture.

Warm, clean, great location with a parking space.

Fantastic location, walkable to the river and all city centre attractions and also very quiet. Lovely to wake up to birdsong in the morning, and we could hear the 101 bell strikes from Tom Tower at 21.05 each evening in the distance. (Very historic) Great to have a parking space, which is why we booked this. Spacious living area and kitchen. Nice and warm, plenty of heating and hot water. Enjoyed the Pinot Grigio!

Slightly tired decor upstairs, needed abit of TLC eg dented walls and broken toilet seat. Needed more places to put / hang things in the bedrooms. But overall, very comfy.

The accommodation was clean and tidy and the location was excellent. The bonus was private parking near by which is like gold dust in Oxford centre

The bed in the front rooms mattress was a little too soft and squidgy. But to be fair we still slept OK and that is being hyper critical as the accommodation is actually lovely and we would definitely stay again.

Excellent small house in quiet area very close to city centre with bonus of a parking space

Excellent location with a parking space just behind the property in a communal parking area with a space designated. Nicely decorated property with everything you would need for cooking. Tea, coffee, sugar etc provided, a welcome bottle of wine and nibbles. Quality towels etc. Very quiet residential area of mixed housing, flats etc. with no through roads. Within sight of the West End shopping centre and literally a 10 minute walk to the middle of the city with all the shops and entertainment/tourist attractions. The bedrooms were good sized with double beds.

Creaky floorboards, back bedroom could have done with a bit of hanging space, maybe the sitting room could do with a rug making it feel a bit more homely. Beds were a bit soft for us but thats a personal choice.

Lovely clean house. Fresh decor. The bottle of wine with glasses on a tray was a lovely touch. Nice and warm. The owner was very helpful when messaged.

A baking tray would be useful when cooking meals in. Just a comment, not a complaint but the wooden frame in the middle of the sofa caught me unaware when I sat down on it unknowingly!

Bit light on kitchen utensils. No dishwasher which would be much more useful than a washing machine for short stays. The sofa bed was uncomfortable sit on and a lamp in the living room would be helpful. Bedroom furniture a bit tired.

Apartment was exactly as described on the booking site, clean tidy and well fitted out.

The apartment was lovely, clean and well fitted out and close to the city centre to walk. The communication from our host Julia was informative and friendly. As we were travelling with a hire car the car park space was perfect and we were able to park the car and walk the city of Oxford from our apartment. Very happy with our stay.

Great instructions on how to park and enter the house. Very clean and tidy, nicely decorated. All the equipment we needed and more. Great to have milk and coffee machine.

We loved this house

the location is excellent, right beside Westgate Shopping centre and a stroll to the centre of the city. It was sparkling clean and comfortable. There is easy access to a parking space in a city where parking is at a premium. The host was instantly online when contacted and very generous.

There was no clothes hanging space in one of the bedrooms. The bath towels could be a bit larger.

Good location close to the centre and right next to Westgate shopping centre; convenience; prompt and helpful communication with host; would have been large enough for a family of four to stay comfortably

Some of the furniture (bed mattress, sofa) is a bit old and tired and could do with being renewed - e.g. mattress was not firm at all
