Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great view over the bay. Lots of room. Kitchen and laundry facilities excellent. The house is far enough away from the wharf to not have the fish scent.

We had a lovely visit in Killybegs. We absolutely loved the location of the house. When we arrived late in the evening it was lovely and warm. The rooms were all very cosy. It really was home away from home. Our little children loved the lambs and were very happy that Farmer Lesley kindly accepted help with feeding the lambs. I read in another review that the road was not great for walking. It is on a little country lane. It was very safe. Possibly if you are a woman on your own you may not feel safe walking up the road. As a family of 5 we loved the walk into Killybegs. Our little boys are 5 and had no trouble with the walk. Thanks very much. We really enjoyed the stay and it was exceptional value.

Home from home

We were free to cook our own breakfast, lunch and dinner, but there are great little cafes in the village with a great menu and value for money , be prepared to wait for a table at some times but you can go for a walk around the area and then pop back in, great takeaway and delivery services available too.

Everything was brilliant, the only small thing was that the beach is not as near to the house as expected for walking but the drive is not far, the roads are a bit narrow and to walk with small kids it's a little nerve-wracking . That's only minor and not an issue for us,.

Beautiful views

The view from the dining/kitchen is what made us choose this property and it did not disappoint. By far the best shower in our travels around the north west. The house is well equipped with everything you might want and more. Access via a lock box was very easy - we didn't meet the hosts.

It is a pity the lounge is not arranged to take in the spectacular view. Most of the mattresses really do need to be replaced.

Nice house in Kellybegs

Clean, great view, lots of baby lambs to watch. Good place to base out of.

The beds were too soft. My back hurt every morning. Luckily they gave us the postal code or we would not have found it. It would be nice to have several ways to contact the hosts. Not just by telephone. Foreign traveller's don't always have phone service.

This house was perfect for experiencing Donegals unique, rugged and captavating landscape. We enjoyed Irish fields view and higher elevation to see the harbour. Clean, warm house, nice host etc.

Beautiful mountainside home just above the town of Killybegs. Owner lives just below and is very responsive. House is comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. Views are spectacular.

Superb view and great location, peaceful and quiet. just a 2min drive to killybegs Town centre. Beautiful clean house with modern interior . Highly recommended and will defo return in the near future 👍 👌

Internet was a bit hit and miss for the boys and their phones lol. But that's a small minor issue really.
