The pub was a welcoming place. The staff, food etc could not be faulted. The music added to the charm. Renovation is taking place and the men working on the project were extremely accommodating and noise was not an issue.
The room was a lot more basic than the photos provided but still clean and comfortable.

The Rusty Mackerel was a delight to be. Who would have thought to rent a room behind a pub? The staff was wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and it was of good Irish fare.
The age of this place, its remoteness, and popularity were other aspects I enjoyed.
Rooms were spare and small, but it got the job done - of being able to rest.

Location. Bedrooms were clean and modern but very small.
The bedrooms were very small, no space for cases. Getting to breakfast room had to go through builders working.
