Very easy check-in. The place is spacious, bright and cozy.
Bed mattress is pretty rough (you can feel the springs poking your back). The building seems to have issues with cockroaches as I saw some littles ones on top of the kitchen counter at night. The host had cockroach trap available, so I used it, but not a pleasant experience.

New, modern, clean and simple accomodation. Easy to park on the street (free parking in August). Easy and fast contact with the private owner.
Street is quite noisy at day (cars) and (people). Due to the warm weather, a simple fan was missing to avoid keeping the windows open (which it was noisy outside)
For the rest, it was perfect.
Location is a bit outside the centre (10-15 min walk to the first metro stop) but it is very close to the flea market.
The bed is a bit unstable.

A nice quiet apt. a little away from the center of Lyon (if sightseeing is your jam), but easily reachable with public transportation. Clean, comfortable for one person or a couple. I liked the style, green chairs comfortable in a cosy dining/resting area. The windows blocked the noise quite well (they come out into the street). A nice shower, big bath towels.
Getting and leaving the keys was easy, all according to the instruction.
Blinds/roller shutters do not block the light entirely so in the summer it means early to bed and early to rise. :-) The kitchen could have been a little better equipped (chopping board, salad bowl, and possibly an electric kettle, which I know are not widely used in France, but elsewhere yes.)
For me, the only drawback was the bed which was big but with a super soft mattress, felt a bit like a water bed. Some folks like it, though.
