Just up the hill on a quiet cul-de-sac. Two blocks to the beach or cafes. Two beds and two bathrooms made a visit with adult children very comfortable.

It was a really comfortable experience with a couple of exceptions. It is a beautiful area--we even had several deer visit in the back yard. It was really clean and thoughtfully stocked with items that made meals really easy.
We had an issue with the garage door and could not get it to open. Our car was in the garage. We called the maintenance number and someone came out. He spent about 45 minutes trying to get it open so we could go to dinner. An automatic garage door opener that worked would have been nice. Also it would be nice if one of the bathrooms had a higher toilet for elderly guests.

I liked the overall location. Unless you were walking very slowly, it was about a five minute walk to the beach. You can hear the ocean at night and the neighbors are quiet.
My dog loved the sandy backyard and forest.
Even though it’s an older home that allows pets, we noticed it didn’t smell. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had enough pots, pans, and baking supplies if you wanted to cook for yourself. However, some of the pans are Teflon and they are scratched. If that bothers you, you may want to bring some of your own.
When we arrived, we realize the bathrooms had not been cleaned. There was down their hair stuck to the toilets, pee stains under the seat, sand in both the bathtubs, toothpaste stains on the counters, mirrors, and faucets. I sent pictures of most everything except the pee stains because after a nine hour journey, I wiped those up immediately. The compensation that was offered by Vacasa for having to clean my own bathrooms was an inspection four days into my stay. Was I supposed to leave the bathrooms nasty until someone had time to inspect them? Ridiculous.
