About this apartment rental
Central is an understatement. Colombina is only a few minutes away from Piazza San Marco (which you can see from some of the windows) and within walking distance to all the attractions you can think of. This home is a regal multi-level extravaganza, furnished with high-quality materials – but what we loved most is that the host had put in a lot of effort into preserving the look and feel of a turn-of-the-century Venetian residence. The old furniture shows some wear and tear, but we thought it contributed to the charm.
Home truths:
* There is no elevator to this second-floor home – those with limited mobility or heavy suitcases take note
* Due to the age of the building, the water pressure fluctuates a little
* One of the bedrooms didn't have curtains when we visited
* Our home critic reported that the entrance to this building was hard to find – keep your host on the line
