Magnolia House, Rye

The made-to-order cooked breakfast was delicious, as were the homemade yogurt and bread. Perfectly located within walking distance of Rye town.

One of the best B&B experiences we have had. Judith and Javed are excellent hosts and made us feel so welcome. The room was clean, spacious, bright and airy with air-conditioning, a fridge, microwave and a table and chairs. The bathroom was also a good size. The bed was really comfortable too. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot food all cooked to order. Magnolia House is in an ideal location for walking around Rye where there is lots to see and lots of independent shops. It's a short drive to Camber Sands, Rye Harbour, although you can walk to these too. Battle is also only half an hour away and well worth a visit. There are lots of really good restaurants within walking distance – Webbes, the Standard Inn, Hoof and Galante were the ones we ate at - and the Waterworks micropub is a fun visit. We really enjoyed visiting Rye and will go back and stay at Magnolia House again.

Cannot think of anything that could have been done better or that we didn't like. We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Rye.

Very good location, a short walk into town. Breakfast was exceptional, well cooked with high quality ingredients and delicious home made bread. The room was a good size, very clean and well equipped. Judith and Javed provided an exceptional service and we would highly recommend Magnolia House.

We had an excellent stay at Magnolia House. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed - we were also delighted to have air conditioning in last weekend’s significant heat. The breakfasts were a treat with much being home produced and cooked to order. Magnolia House is very well situated, just a short walk from the centre of Rye. Parking is behind the house and there is an EV charger too which we used.
