Beautiful location & gorgeous room!

Loved everything about our stay.. no negatives!

The property is managed by a family partially originating from Germany and it has the best positive influence on the facility and the quality of stay. It is exceptionally clean and perfectly managed. The bed was very good and comfortable. For the breakfast you have variety of choices that hosts will cook for you; everything was fresh and well cooked. The property is located in a very calm neighbourhood and at the same time conveniently close to several fantastic castles. Overall we got an impression that Scotland is something like Provence of the North and staying at Home Farm was as well contributing to our fantastic experience and holiday.

This property ranks among the best we’ve ever stayed at. Truly. The hosts, Robert and Paula, were welcoming and well organised. We didn’t have to think about a thing during our stay and, despite the property being well appointed for various castles, beaches and towns etc, Paula supplied us with a list of things to do and places to eat. Amazing. The property, inside and out, was spotless and, whether you fancied kicking back in your room with the huge tv or sitting in the gardens, you always felt at ease and actually on holiday. The spa was amazing. For a few pounds, we had the pool, jacuzzi and sauna all to ourselves. If you come here, use it. You won’t be disappointed. The breakfasts were lovely and, on two of the mornings, we asked for a smaller breakfast as it was just too much. 👍 Sadly, on our last night, we didn’t know Paula had to go into hospital briefly but, despite the emergency, the next morning breakfast was served to us, and another, larger, party. Such was their commitment to their guests. To wrap up, I genuinely would recommend this property to anyone wishing to explore the area and have a stay to remember. It provided the backdrop to a wonderful 30th wedding anniversary! Thank you Paula and Robert.
