The cottage is absolutely beautiful overlooking Lake Tekapo. It's warm and cosy on cold days and the kitchen is sufficient to cook light meals. As mentioned on previous reviews, the only downside is people walking through and trespassing the property thinking it's public. Other than that, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the area.
For the price, I think it's nice to have a washing machine included.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Beautiful views of the lake and church. Older house but well maintained.

This is a very pleasant house with a remarkable view of the lake and the church. It's private (and did I mention the view?) but a very easy walk over to restaurants and coffee. The house itself is well appointed and cozy.
