Large house , nice open kitchen, great location close to downtown and few scenic spots

Excellent location right near the Church of the Good Shepherd. Big spacious accomodation. Easily sleep 6 comfortably if need be. BBQ, and great cooking facilities. Lisa at "Discover Tekapo" could not have been more helpful as a property manager. Wish we had have stayed in the area longer. So much to see here. The lake itself is just the start. Do the observatory and head to Mt Cook at least.
It was a little pricey, but then again I do not know what other places in the area were like for somewhere so central and spacious. The place is renovated old place but they have done a great job.

The outlook to the bush was just gorgeous! The house was located so close to the lake and the church. We could even walk to the town so quickly and easily. Fantastic location and just beautiful surrounds. Highly recommend it!!

Location not bad. About 15 minute walk into village. Take a torch as there are NO street lights and it was very dark at night.
It was fairly well appointed with all you need in the way of kitchen utensils.
Nice to have a washer and dryer too!
I can understand why it was called 'Bush House'! When you pull up it looks like someone's garage or a tin shed!
It is right into the bush , so no windows can be opened at night, unless you want an insect invasion!
