Great stay. Loved the area.

Great deck and bathroom. Close to the beach. Can walk everywhere from hotel. Pools were nice. Outdoor shower and deck are fabulous.

We really enjoyed our stay at Noma. The concept is of staying in a container is original and we did not not know what to expect, but we really loved it! The spaces are cozy, built with with attention to detail, and very comfortable. The bed was spacious and super comfy. The place is close to a beautiful beach and plenty of tasty restaurants. Would absolutely recommend!

The location was great. There’s a little walk of maybe 5-6 min to the closest entrance to a beautiful beach. We walked on the beach for maybe 10min to get to the first restaurant. The location is relaxing! We would definitely go back!

Missing some street light. It can get pretty dark at night, specially if you’re out having supper and have to walk back to the hotel.

Cozy, arty property in charming rustic town.

Love the design of the complex and the units. Unique and thoughtful; simple yet very comfortable (eg good mattresses and a/c). Quiet spot surrounded by trees — besides the sounds of many birds in the morning! The pools are refreshing and the groundskeeper, Alberto, was kind and helpful. The pizza restaurant was good, too.

The breakfast was in a cozy little restaurant on the beach. It had excellent menu choices.

The road from the end of the town to the hotel was unpaved for a 100 meters or so - hopefully in the future it will connect the town with the hotel.

Nice location, cool setting, needs to update specific services that are listed on Booking.com's site

Our experience at H20 Container Cabins was very good. We were able to check in earlier than anticipated. The staff were gracious and kind. The simple amenities were thoughtful. The property was clean and natural.

Booking.com advertised that H20 Container Cabins offered money exchange, concierge services and spa services such as a variety of different massage, yoga classes, etc. When I asked Ulysses at reception about these additional services, he had a puzzled/confused look on his face and replied that spa services weren't included. I'm curious as to why they were posted as such. In addition, when I asked about changing money, Ulysses said that reception kept very little money for exchange. Not what Booking.com advertised. Lastly, there was no breakfast option or "button" on the Booking.com page for me to select. The page did say that breakfast was included, which it was not. So 3 misleading amenities: breakfast included, concierge/money exchange and available spa services. My traveling guests were very disappointed about breakfast not being included and no spa services. That information needs to be changed on Booking.com's page. That would have affected where we stayed, had we known that the info wasn't current, up-to-date.

1 night to dip in the container pool, swing on hammock & get some Zs

Such a unique space that was charming and industrial at the same time. In keeping with the extremely clean environment each unit had a funky and functional foot washing station that 'almost' ensured a sand-free floor. I could have showered for hours in the spacious semi indoor/outdoor rain shower!!

We were unaware of the complimentary and/or included breakfast until we were checking out and had already accepted an invite with friends at a local restaurant. It very well had been an oversight on our part but we wished we would have know upon check in.

Beautiful property, cute bungalows— perfect location, impeccably maintained by the very kind staff. Loved the pool!!

I wish there would have been blankets on the bed and I really wish our towels would have been refreshed during the stay. By the end of a week long stay we were using very dirty towels for showers and after the pool. I was very chilly every night with no blanket as my husband prefers a cold room. I had to bundle up in sweats to try to stay warm with just a sheet which is a weird experience to have at a nice hotel.

we stayed in the two-story, so we each had our own shipping container. I saved in the top floor and the light came in like crazy in the morning. It was very hard to sleep. You could hear some noise from the road. Also, if you’re looking for really good quiet, we can’t really get it there until nightfall, it is opposite the road from the beach. You have to walk on the road for a little bit and then walk down the path to the beach so if you want to be directly on the water this is not the place. We’ve paid C$200. Canadian dollars which is a lot of money for one night in this area.

This place has a lot of potential… But the price you pay is not worth it.

The customer service and staff were amazing! The bed was extremely comfortable, the facilities were high quality, and the design was minimal but innovative and aesthetically pleasing. 10/10 on those things!

The level and amount of noise was HORRIBLE. From the road, the construction next door (going until after 9pm some nights), neighbors and staff on the property, the neighbors and shop next door to the property… you can hear EVERYTHING. It was extremely hard to sleep at night or relax during the day. There was also an issue with the lights at night shining directly into the room… But it was fixed it by the third night. Overall, not the best value for what you’re actually able to enjoy. If the location was better, if it was more peaceful, quieter at night, and/or there was more to enjoy on the actual property.. it would be worth the price.

the containers are placed very close to each other, there is no intimacy, no green, no many plants. it’s right on the road and from the first container you hear the street noise quite loudly. luckily I was moved to a different container a bit far away from the street. There is no bar or restaurant yet. That would improved it a lot, the place is just 10 minutes walk from the town but by evening it’s a walk on the dark road, so a little bar on location would be very nice alternative.

We love our stay the. It was a very unique peaceful quiet experence and a short walk to town. The cabins themselves are beautiful inside and the grounds and placement of surrounding container cabins are beautiful. Also we enjoyed the rooftop dinning.

I was annoyed that while I was promised breakfast if my stay was longer than 5 days, the hotel told me I was mistaken. Either Booking.com or H2O were not transparent. I was annoyed that after the first day, coffee packs were not provided in the room. I like my first cup of coffee before engaging with the world. I was annoyed that there was no potable water in the room; while water was available at the reception area there was a 'strange' vibe about filling my container... For the price, H2O should provide a daily packet of coffee and access to potable water. Not cool to have to buy endless small plastic bottles of water at a hotel presenting as greenish.

Fantastic stay at the H2O hostels!

Had a fantastic stay at the H2O container hotels! We stayed there for three nights in a family suite and it was really nice. The place was really clean and it felt really new. It had all the amenities we needed, even a coffee machine. Every day our bed was made and new coffee beans were added. The pools outside were fantastic, perfect for cooling down on a hot day. We also managed to park our car outside without a problem. The communication with the host was really easy and he gave us suggestions what to do around the area.

Unusual Hotel with cool vibes

As an interior designer, I love the idea of staying in shipping containers and having a unique experience. Even the swimming pools are made from shopping containers! Lots of attention to detail with nice liners, large comfy bed, air con & fridge. and clothes storage. i loved the outdoor shower with hot water. Setting was ideal on one of the most secluded, unspoilt beaches in the area. Staff went above & beyond. The hotel manager was excellent helping find me cash points & storing my luggage.

mobile reception is a bit patchy - but consider it a digital detox and you’ll cope!

Lay back outdoor bliss close to a magical beach

The overal vibe, the beds, showers, pool, and staff and proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been to. The staff is constantly present (in a good way) and very helpful and accommodating.

Some of the containers are right next to a water filtering machine and this can get very noisy. I usually get annoyed, but got used to it in the end, but if you’re sensitive to noise, this place might not be for you.

I was glad to get it in a pinch, but would need more to stay there again.

The warm water is a nice change from other hotels. The fixtures and finishes are nice. The air conditioner is nice. The bed was pretty comfortable.

Keep in mind, the property is very new, so I do understand there are a lot of links to work out. - the property feels a little far from things, and doesn’t have enough to do on the property yet to keep you there (no WiFi, no food). I came for a friends birthday and had to leave another hotel and only stay here for one night, so not a big deal. if I had stayed longer, I wouldn’t have liked it - there was an ant problem. when I first arrived I noticed a few ants in the bed. They were able to fix that , which I was very happy about. But then, the ants found a tiny pack of Halls throat candy, which was unfortunate to find hundreds of them in the morning. It was in a place that was designated as a kitchen area (has coffee and tea and a refrigerator) so they might need to give you containers that are ant proof in case you have food there - there are other little things that would make the experience more comfortable: mosquito netting outside the outdoor shower, hooks to hang things in the bathroom, and maybe a stool or two inside the container where one could sit or put luggage.
