Mood Hotel Kazbegi

Cozy,neat,near to the center,right in the heart of Kazbegi. Views are amazing🏔️ Breakfast was outstanding. Super hosts with attentive staff.

Unfortunately had a lot of issues with our stay. Which is unfortunate as this place had so many nice ratings.. The host tried hard to rectify with glasses of wine and Booking credits but it still affected our visit as it seemed we were having to deal with something every day. We initially had nice exchanges with the host using Google translate as they did not speak English / we did not speak Georgian. But a cold front has moved into valley and it was very cold outside. We had to practically plead for the Central heat to be turned on even though it was out of season for them to do so. But we were waking to 4C degrees temps outside. We had a grey water smell in the room. Ceaning staff forgot to clean our rooms 2x in a row. One night we had an issue with a key to one of our rooms and it would not open so a locksmith had to be called. The host seemed to be irritated with us and thought we did something wrong. So she got rather short with us and stopped using Google translate to communicate and seemed upset when we did not understand her. She left us with a really bad impression which then made us feel unwelcome in the hotel for the rest of our stay.
