Hotel Shina

I highly recommend choosing Hotel Shina for stay. It is the best to buy an half board option, it suited us, because we can choose the time of ours breakfast and dinner. The meals portions was big, delicious and fresh made from local ingredients. We asked for a vegetarian version and there was no problem with that.

Все двери в номере перекошены. Матрас кровати был очень старый и продавленый. Подушка пахла чужим одеколоном. Номер требует косметического ремонта. Туалетной бумаги не было. Утром отсутствовала горячая вода, а холодная текла тонкой струйкой. Очень громкая лестница, когда по ней кто то идет разрается громкий топот и скрип,, это сильно слышно в номере.

I spent a few days in Kazbegi. I spent the last day of my trip at the hotel "Shina". I was very satisfied, attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, clean rooms, it was simply excellent. Those who are attracted by cozy atmosphere and extraordinary views should definitely visit this hotel in Kazbegi. Deepest thanks to the hotel administration.

Location is very central. It offers bigger rooms with up to six beds, so nice for a larger family or group of friends. Breakfast is served downstairs in family restaurant.

Showers on the top floor did not have strong enough water pressure. Shower curtains are missing, so the small bathroom is all wet after you have showered. Premises and rooms are not cozy or comfy at all e.g. no bed side lamps. Staff are kind but don't speak English, and very little Russian. Breakfast is rich but you have to fight flies attacking your food. Would expect bit better service for the price.
