The furniture in the room was quite new and more than adequate. Having a washing machine was extremely practical, as it allowed us to return home with clean luggage and no dirty clothes. The kitchen was also useful and functional, and the view was amazing, overlooking the ski lifts.
Independently of the accommodation, the road from Tbilisi to Gudauri Ski Resort feels outdated, with heavy truck traffic and many dangerous overtaking maneuvers. The journey takes at least three hours. Within Gudauri, the roads are not properly cleared of snow and are full of potholes. Parking options are very limited, so renting a car is definitely not recommended—it will only become a hassle. We arranged a transfer, but even that couldn’t reach directly in front of the hotel because the vehicle’s tires slipped on the ice, so we had to walk the remaining distance.
