Unpretentious hotel with charm, character and friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly with our luggage and by putting an extension lead in our room as I had requested a socket near the bed. We had a clean, comfortable suite with two separate bedrooms, a sitting area in the connecting corridor and a large covered balcony. The hotel had character and charm and was within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Good value for money.

No lift. The bed was very low, but that suited my shorter wife.

A great place to stay in Subbotica!

The staff were so nice. I had to leave early in the morning and they made sure I had some breakfast to take with me. Location is great within 5 minutes walk of the city center. It was very quiet and comfortable.

Great value hotel near the centre of Subotica

Located near the centre of Subotica, this hotel offers good value. The facilities are clean, though a bit dated, but everything is in order and the staff is super friendly and always willing to help you out with anything. Breakfast is off a menu and they make pretty good coffee. Parking is on-site, to the side of the building and is regarded pretty safe. Overall, a pleasant experience, I'd stay there again.

A couple of things I did not like are the fact that one time the room did not have a mini fridge, but the staff was more than willing to put my items in the restaurant fridge till I picked them up in the morning. Also the breakfast selection could be a bit larger but still, it is sufficient.

Close to the center (2 blocks, about 5 mins walk), parking, reasonable price.

Do you miss the 90's? Do you miss cigarette odor everywhere? Have you not seen a 30 year old carpet for a while? You are in luck here. It must have been great in 1998, now, well, it is not that anymore. Cigarette stink is embedded in carpets, in walls, in everything, we did not see people actively smoke inside, but still everywhere. Breakfast was decent, but be ready for a Turkish coffee, some might not accept that. If you have this as a sleepover on your way home, just to arrive, walk to the center for ice cream/beer/whine, and leave in the morning, good, but I'd not spend there more than a night.

I got my booking confirmed, and also the request to check in late, but when I turned up at the hotel they said that they had no reservation and that they were completely booked out. All that at almost midnight. A family also turned up, at the same time, same story. The only help I got from the staff was them letting me charge my phone so I could call a different hotel (they wouldn't do it).

Delicious breakfast with a lot of food and wide choice. The neighbourhood is not the most pleasant though but it's not the hotel to blame. Everything is clean and comfortable, nice atmosphere and helpful hotel crew.
