Cadwgan House

Beautifully decorated, clean and everything you could want. The only things I can mention is there are lots of stairs, so if you have mobility problems ask for a ground floor. We stayed in apartment 4 on the second floor, it was worth the stairs though for the views and space. Bed very comfy, lovely soft bedding. Kitchen beautifully equipped. Lots of private areas in the gardens to sit and enjoy/eat. If you’re not used to road noise then you’d probably notice this, property is opposite the co-op which is open til 10pm(very handy)and very busy, especially at 8am on a Monday when the delivery truck parks outside. The apartments at the rear of the property probably wouldn’t be affected by this. Neither of these points were a negative for us, had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again.

Location to Elan Valley and pubs/eateries

Nice finishes to everything in the apartment, little touches of style. Friendly host. Excellent pre-travel communication.

Brilliant location right in the centre of town. Modern, clean & everything you need for your stay including kitchen facilities and nice lounge with sofa bed which my friend used. Owner was really friendly - greeted us personally and showed us where we could park our motorbikes round the back

Nothing at all. There wasn’t much open/going on in Rhayader mid-week but that’s not the property’s fault and we did find a pub that was open for a drink and a bite to eat
