Great use of space and has everything you could need. Perfect location for Elan Valley and also lots of local shops, pubs and cafes. Breakfast at Ty Morgans was lovely. Will be back to visit again.

Cadwgan House is extremely well presented and very quiet despite its central location in Rhyader. Facilities were all excellent. Parking about 100m down the road is unrestricted and we never had a problem finding a space. Provisions from local shops could hardly be more convenient - there is a large Co-op immediately across the road. Hosts were welcoming but left us otherwise to ourselves. Rhyader is a useful centre for walkers and bikers of all standards, from the Riverside Trail (easy) to the longer trek up the Elan valley. More challenging hill climbs are undoubtedly available, but they are beyond our capabilities!
