The location with its amazing views
Of the lake and volcanoes.
It was open and private at the same time.

Beautiful view and lots of space
Owner was very helpful in booking both a car and boat transfer to get to the property as well as offering suggestions on places to eat and things to do.
Upon arrival, it was communicated that we needed to pay on site (versus charging the card I use with booking to reserve) and there would be an extra fee for using Tab to process the credit card payment. The new price would be over $60 more than what I “booked” with booking.com. It was communicated on booking that the exchange rate might change the price but the extra fee was not communicated. After traveling for more than 12 hours, it was frustrating to be surprised with the extra fee and to have to haggle the price I was going to pay for the accommodation.

If you’re planning a trip to Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, this is the perfect place to stay! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the warm hospitality from Mr. Clemens and Mrs. Jenny truly made the experience special. They were incredibly helpful, responding to all my questions quickly and thoughtfully.
One thing that really stood out was the detailed list of recommendations they provided—everything from things to do to helpful local tips—which made exploring the area so much easier. It’s rare to find a place that goes the extra mile like this.
I would absolutely recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely be returning if I’m ever back in Guatemala!

The views were amazing and the facility is in excellent shape and laundry washers are available. Owner had people to help with luggage. Operator speaks English fairly well.
Host did not give detailed information about getting in and out of property and we got locked out one night and lost on a confusing trail to the next village as no tips were provided. Luckily google maps worked. Getting to the property is expensive with luggage and lots of stairs. Owner did have people to help with luggage
