A cozy fairytale cabin surrounded by snow perfect for hygge

An amazing experience in a wooden cabin surrounded by snow, it truly feels like a fairytale. One of the best places I’ve been so far. Extremely cozy and perfect for hygge. The ceiling height on the second floor is not an issue at all, and the hosts were very attentive, even recommending the best actions to take during storm alerts.

One small suggestion for the future: a complimentary toiletry kit (shampoo, etc.) would be a lovely addition.

We enjoyed 3 nights in this lovely, very cozy and well equiped cabin with super friendly owners

The cabin is well located and very cozy. Very tastefully decorated in pure Norvegian style. The owners were extremely responsive and helpfull with usefull hiking and dining information. The cabin was easy to find and pre-heated when we arrived, with daytime high of 0 oC we appreciated ! Beautiful view over the fjord and the mountains in the background. Joker super market very close by and lots of nice beaches within 10-15 min. drive.

The 2 bedrooms in the loft are under a slanted roof separated by a partition and a curtain. In the room with a double bed there is really only about 1 sqm where one can stand upright (I measure 172 cm). Getting a 20 kg suitcase up the narrow staircase was a bit of a challenge for a 79 year old ... but it was ok.

Perfect place for a nighttime fire/barbecue

The outdoor fireplaces. I cooked my meal on one of them. Despite some rain and cold, it was a superbly cosy setting. The view of the harbour is gorgeous too. All that you might need is available and clean.

Lovely, cozy property on Senja

This is a lovely cabin, and the hosts have provided all the little touches and lighting that make it sparkle with magic. The grounds are also wonderful and lush. I would gladly book it again if we ever return to Senja.

We really liked it all, but folks who are elderly or infirm could have difficulty climbing the stairs to the attic bedroom. It is really great for everyone else!

Silvia and Thomas left us a welcome message in a blackboard, 2 delicious chocolates and, more importantly the coziest most warm cabin we could ever dream of. We rented within a week seven different places as we were travelling and exploring. This was our favorite place!!! The cabin got the charme of an old little house with a mindful restauration. Everything felt so right!!! We also had an outside campfire going. So beautiful with the snow. We will come back for sure. :)

Perfect cabin as gateway to scenic parts of Senja, close to Tromso via Ferry

This is an incredible little cabin right at the Ferry Quays to Senja. Silvia & Thomas heated the place before we arrived so it was nice and cozy, it's spaceious and got everything you need. On a dark and clear night, you can see the northern lights from the doorstep - Thomas even came running over to alert us!

There's nothing to improve. Perfect place.

The ceiling upstairs was too low that we kept hitting our heads every time. Have to remind ourselves to stoop over. I wish there’s a marker on the street that leads to the Cabin. A bit too expensive.

This cabin felt like home. Thanks to Thomas and Silvia. It’s cozy and warm, with renovated bathroom and kitchen with kitchen supplies. Provided with everything you could need. Dishwasher, washing machine, beautiful bedroom upstairs and sitting and dining area. Welcome board with a personalized message at the entrance, and a book where guests can write down their experience. The owners are amazing. Thank you so much, we loved it!

Literally everything. The cabin is very new and very tastefully decorated. It is so cosy and warm, it feels exactly like home. Am so reluctant to leave. Thomas is a super host, provide us detailed info and even come knock on our door when polar light appear (we told him we hope to see it). Can't ask for any better place

The cottage was very cozy. As it is newly renovated, the overall look was really beautiful and well finished. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed for our one night stay. The hosts were really nice and they gave us a warm welcome when we arrived.

As being a tall person, the room heigh was pretty low, so I hit my head several times. However, it didn’t bother our stay at all!

Perfect Cabin.

Very comfortable and super cozy Cabin. Equipped perfectly. Location is very close to best hiking trails on Senja, of course if you travelling by car. Silvia and Thomas was very very welcoming. It was a pleasure to communicate with them. 100% recommend this Cabin.

Atmospheric little cottage

Absolutely adorable little cottage (but not too small:). Clean, comfy, atmospheric, Lovely old cottage, but still all the machinery new and top notch. Dishwasher, laundry machine, shower, fridge + small freezer, modern stove + oven basically all you need and more. Ideal for 2 to 3 person, prolly 4th person can sleep on the sleeping couche, not sure on this, ask from the owners. Easy to find, just next to the town called Botnhamn, and there is a market called Joker (open 10am-10pm, sat. till 4pm, sun closed), where you can find all the groceries and basic supplies. Nothin' to complain. Definately recommend. 9.5/10. Tusen takk!

Can be a bit pricey if so, like many accommodation in Norway, but other than that everything was flawless here.
