Basic kitchen .. I know we in Indonesia but some guests may want more ..

We spent a total of three weeks at Oki House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been to G-T a few times prior to this trip - however this was the first with our two children. The price, and location was perfect for us. Nothing was a problem for our host who was available with short notice when needed. The facilities are basic although functional. A large shop close by and turtle beach 7 mins walk away, less with our bikes/scooters!

Minor inconvenience was the shower taking time to warm up and the aircon not being to cold in one of the bedrooms.

Math the host was friendly and helpful, we were early and he let us leave our bags before check in. He helped us rent bikes and do laundry. Fridge was stocked with Bintangs which was great. Pool and outdoor area was really nice. Very close to port so only a short walk to villa from boat. Would be a good villa for friends or two couples.

Air con wasn't great, didn't get very cold. Bathroom wall at back is made of bamboo so a lot of mosquitos came into the room. Both bathrooms had small centipedes that would come in at night. There is a lot of noise from roosters, animals and temples nearby, can't really be helped just be aware when booking.

Overall, our stay was ok. The host, Joe, was very helpful and polite. Helped us book a snorkelling trip. The house was spacious. The pool was very refreshing in a hot day and it was nice jumping into it in the morning. The place is situated very close to the beach, where all the bars and restaurants are.

The place IS NOT quiet. Mark my words if you have a sensitive sleep. There's some kind of farm next to it and a rooster crows at 6am. Actually there were 3 crowing roosters, when I was there. Also there's a mosque next to the place that was prophetting till 3am. Maybe there was some religious holiday that Im not aware of, but that's what I had during my stay. No hot water in the shower, which is normal for Gili, but just so you know. There're no blanket, only a duvet cover.
