Bollata Beach House

Everything was amazing, near the beach, calm… a little paradise! The team was the best they helped us so much! If I go back to gili air I will come back again! And the breakfast was good!

We walked down the path ro the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was fresh and wholesome.

The deck need sun blinds for the hot afternoon sun.

We appreciated being welcomed with a fresh young coconut drink, which was a nice touch. Also, whenever we actually asked the staff for something, they were friendly and willing to help.

The location is not very convenient, especially if you arrive with luggage. From the harbor, you have to make your way to almost the opposite side of the island, and since there are no cars on Gili Air, getting there with bags can be quite uncomfortable. The hotel itself feels quite basic and below the standard we expected. The staff could often be seen lying around, and our room was not ready on time. The room itself wasn’t particularly clean or well maintained. There is no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom, the hot water sometimes runs out, and the room has almost no amenities at all — no hairdryer, no drinking water, no minibar, basically nothing apart from soap and toilet paper. Breakfast was also disappointing: essentially one La Crêperie-style pancake, which felt very limited for a hotel breakfast.
