With very short notice, we were offered the lovely Ty Capel in Dinas Mawddwy. We were made to feel very welcome and our hostess even provided us with some basics as we were unprepared for an overnight stay. We enjoyed the deep bath, the nearby Y Llew Coch for our food and a great night's sleep. Thank you!

A quirky and cosy alternative to chain hotels. Plenty of character and the log burning fireplace went down a treat given the weather outside was pretty rank.
Just a couple of suggestions, there was no terrestrial TV channels to check the news etc and some lighting for the path up to the property for dark and wet evenings would be a help.

Lots of character. Having the wood burner on was lovely. Our son had come to take pictures at the Mach Loop and this was an ideal place to stay.
