My daughter absolutely loved staying in the plane, I wish I’d booked an extra night!

We had an amazing stay at Alaya Airways! Staying in a converted aeroplane was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the thoughtful welcome message to all the little touches throughout the property. The location is peaceful and perfect for exploring Dolgellau and the surrounding countryside. Our host was friendly, welcoming, and always available if needed. If you’re looking for somewhere different, relaxing, and memorable, this is the perfect place. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind getaway. We loved staying here- it was such a fun, unusual place to stay but was also comfortable and well-equipped. The bed was very comfy, the shower was really nice and the kitchenette was an added bonus. We loved just sitting having a drink in the plane, it didn’t matter that it was raining outside. All the added touches were really nice eg the fan in the bedroom, the extra blankets etc and it was great for dogs too. It was nice and private but also very close to local amenities.

We were a bit disappointed that the outside area wasn’t totally securely enclosed for the dog (I had read that it was). There were good fences on 3 sides but the 4th was a treeline with gaps through which our dog would have got through onto the road/ car park below. This wasn’t a deal breaker, just an observation and wouldn’t put us off staying again!
