A wonderful stay in a lovely cosy cottage, with everything you could ask for.

What a wonderful cottage. It was everything we could have asked for and more. The waterfall in the back garden was magical - a very soothing sound. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed for a short stay.

No complaints from my stay - I only wished it could have been longer. Even the weather behaved itself.

Excellent location. Home from home kind of place and the kids loved every minute of their stay. We had a waterfall in the back garden what more could you ask for!

Amazing place to stay

We liked absolutely everything. We had an amazing time, and we did not want to go home. My kids loved the surroundings and saw so many sheeps close by, and we loved the sound of waterfall. It was just super relaxing. Everything was spot on, so thank you for having us. Xxx

Perfect base for a hiking/biking kind of trip

Beautiful location, quiet, calm, cosey cottage. Main focus of the stay was to mountain bike around the dyfi forest and cwm cywarch and the cottage provided a perfect base for that. Local village is very quiet and the local pub is a good one, there’s brigands bar/hotel a mile up the road too. Stunning mountain view’s on the drive back to Dolgellau

The front bedroom is quiet, whereas the back bedroom albeit beautiful is noisy with the fast flowing waterfall

The host Kate Smith was approachable and responsive, which was helpful when we had a generic query. The cake and wine on arrival were a lovely touch and the location was great for us with Barmouth and Snowdon accessible with great views along the way.

friendly little village relatively near a couple of small towns with a stunning drive through

great location between dolgellau, machynlleth and lake vernwey. clean, fresh, comfortable, cosy - relatively close to dinas mawdwwy village with a friendly local pub - i was on my bike so maybe 5 minutes on bike, probs 20 mins by foot, 1 minute in a car. abercywarch is surrounded by dark brooding mountains which make you feel alive - bwlch y groes is near by and the drive through from a470 via dolgellau is absolutely spectacular

This little cottage is so cozy it has everything you need...... I love the Woodburner it makes the living room extra cozy, and I love the waterfall outside..... there is a lovely little pub about 15min walk from the cottage and plenty of walking to do
