A great property let down by lack of maintenance.

The property was well furnished, clean & fully equipped.

The bathroom electric towel rail did not work, this was noted in the guest reviews in the property over many months. It is very disappointing that it hasn’t been fixed.

Great location, comfortable and clean.

Leaking small shower with rubbish water pressure that had paint flaking off the ceiling above, only two forks which was manageable as there was two of us but annoying. Cheap cooking utensils.

You could at times hear the upstairs people, I think they may have wooden flooring.

Well equipped holiday apartment close to Bala town centre

The Lakeside Suite is a very well-equipped apartment for 2 people, less than 5 minutes walk from the high street with a choice of bars, cafes, restaurants and two supermarkets (Spar and Co-Op). There is a car park opposite the building with free overnight parking (payment necessary during the day). There is also a small outside seating area with lighting that comes on in the evening

The apartment is on the second floor and has a reduced height doorway into the apartment- my husband hit his head when entering. The dining table has 3 chairs- a fourth would have been nice so that my brother- and sister-in-law could have sat around the table with us for a meal.

The outside space was disappointing. We were expecting a wood-burning stove but it has an electric fire that looks like a log burner. We went in July but we would have been disappointed if we had gone earlier / later in the year.

The flat was good, but it was let down by a number of things, which was really disappointing they tanted the stay in Bal

The bed was so comfy and the sitting room cosy and warm. Leaving after not having a relaxing weekend that we thought we were going to get.

The neighbours, the flat above were very noisy to all hours. The neighbour from down the street were very noisy and required the police to attend a which was very distracting and we felt very uncomfortable.

Fantastic apartment

Very clean, excellent location and facilities.

The only small thing was a strong odour from the sofa bed that was very strong at first but was less as more time was spent in the apartment not sure if it’s a cleaning agent or something but other then that fantastic apartment.

Lovely cosy place to relax

Lovely, quiet place to stay in Bala. Parking could be an issue, but we were lucky enough to get a park out the front. Bedroom is ‘cosy’, but living area and kitchen area are spacious. It was very comfortable and a nice place to slow down for a couple of days. Hosts communicated well at every stage. Only negative was the lack of soap/shower gel in the bathroom. We’ve been travelling for 6 weeks so rely on those little touches being available.

Comfortable for a short stay

Location was excellent and provided a good base for our trip. The accommodation was just right for the two of us.

It would have been nice to have had more information in the layout of the Bala suite properties so that we could have been more informed before choosing, instructions for the heater in living space would also have been useful.

In the centre of Bala Town - very convenient. The large car park opposite is great - split into two parts (blue and white lined) white lined area was free from 4pm to 10am next day!

Apartment was beautiful, cosy, furnished nicely, spotlessly clean. and equipped with everything you need. Location was an excellent base for exploring surrounding areas. Plenty of lovely places to eat and drink in close proximity to the apartment.

Bala is a great place to visit and this apartment was a great place to stay.

We arrived in Bala after a particularly difficult journey and we were so relieved and delighted to enter a lovely apartment The location was great and most convenient for the shops. We felt comfortable and the apartment was really well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very smart and well appointed. We have loved our stay and am sure that we shall come back again as we often sail on the lake at Bala. Would like to thank you very much.

Fantastic .Everything you need comfortable , clean modern

Would have been useful to have the Welsh suite sign outside as this was advised didn’t realise Welsh suite was no 2 had to contact host who thankfully answered . Would also suggest a front door that has inside ability to open without unlocking ( in event of fire wouldn’t want to have to look for keys )

Superb

This is the second time we’ve stayed now, the apartment is so cosy and homely. We love the location, it’s very peaceful and perfect for a quiet few nights away.

It would of been nice to have a privacy blind on the front door window for night time, I would also suggest having a small hoover available for guests staying longer than 2 nights to clean up any crumbs / spillages etc.

House was very cosy, looked exactly like pictures. Bala was a great little town and we loved exploring it and surrounding towns. Had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

Only thing I'd call out is the fireplace was actually just a heater with a logfire graphic. We chose this place for the log burner so this was a bit disappointing - however still very warm and cosy!

Cosy accommodation with everything you need..

The location was perfect for what we were after - just round the corner from the main high street. We parked outside on the street with no issues. The accomodation was cosy, and had everything we needed. The sofa and bed were very comfy. Cooking facilities were good, but we just used the basics - kettle and toaster. There was a good selection of crockery, glasses, mugs etc and utensils if you did want to cook.

There was an emergency renovation occuring in the property we originally booked, so we got advised we would be in a different property that is in the same building. This was fine, but the only negative was that the first place had a log burner, and the place we ended up staying had an electric fire. It probably made keeping warm easier, but it's hard to beat the cosiness of a log burner! The wall in the bedroom by the window was wet - it looked like there were some issues with a leaking roof outside, but we didn't let this affect our stay.
