Tanzanite place

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The was bed was comfy, air conditioning was very much welcomed. The host was very helpful and breakfast was very good. It is just off a main road, so it is along a bus route. Which made getting there easy for us. It is also just a 10-15 minute walk from silent beach. Also easy to get into Tangalle if you are planning on, by bus or Tuk Tuk. The Overall very happy with our stay, it is good value and would recommend.

Shiwanka and his family were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, had a really nice outside area and the homemade breakfasts were delicious everyday. And of course, being a 15min walk from Silent Beach was unbeatable and we’d 100% come back!!

The room I was staying in had everything I needed - a desk, wi-fi, nice window view, bathroom and a terrace. I cooked breakfast for myself on the terrace - it had all the kitchenware needed. The bed was very comfortable, cleaning happened every second day, wi-fi was good quality, the room is air-conditioned. The host was extremely friendly and helped with so many things - from getting you 5L of water to taking you to the city in a nice air-conditioned car. The location is very good - about 10 minutes walk to the Silent beach (best beach there, honestly) and about 20 to the Goyambokka, lots of restaurants, a coworking place, yoga classes. Very quiet and calm place.

The facilities in the bathroom and kitchen might seem outdated, if that's what you find important. But it's still very good quality/price for Sri Lanka. Wi-fi was not perfect for long video calls, but even my sim was not great for calls there - just try to avoid many calls or go to EasyLife coworking instead (about 7 min walk from the house).

We arrived late and the first thing the owner did was to ask if we wanted to order breakfasts for the following morning and handed us over the price list. Business first. Food prices were very high for Sri Lankan standards. The internet was very slow. !
