Everything, the 30m2 room with huge balcony, place, price, scooter renting, breakfast, the Tanzanite family are paying attention to small details that are making a huge difference.
If we come back to Tangalle we will for sure come back.

Our deluxe double room was actually two large bedrooms. Good wifi. A shared kitchen (with fridge and kettle) for cooking. Although a little way out of town, there appear to be a few restaurants nearby (although many were closed due to few tourists at this time) or can get a Tuk-Tuk in need. 15 minute walk to Silent Beach (which has large waves and undertow so wouldn't recommend for swimming at this time of year)
The layout of the rooms was a little inconvenient, as from one bedroom, you had to go though to the open balcony then the second bedroom to get to the bathroom. Air-conditioning in one room stopped working due to a blown fuse, so was a bit uncomfortable until host came and sorted.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The was bed was comfy, air conditioning was very much welcomed. The host was very helpful and breakfast was very good.
It is just off a main road, so it is along a bus route. Which made getting there easy for us.
It is also just a 10-15 minute walk from silent beach. Also easy to get into Tangalle if you are planning on, by bus or Tuk Tuk.
The Overall very happy with our stay, it is good value and would recommend.
No complaints.

The balcony and the garden
We arrived late and the first thing the owner did was to ask if we wanted to order breakfasts for the following morning and handed us over the price list. Business first. Food prices were very high for Sri Lankan standards. The internet was very slow. !
