We checked out in less than 3 hours after checking in despite paying +-RM280 for our room. Firstly, the facilities do not match what have been described in Agoda. I selected the triple room that offers 2 bathrooms and a bathtub. Instead was given a deluxe room (also for a triplet) but lacking the above facilities. The operator claims that there is no difference between the deluxe and triple room despite the clear descriptions stated in Agoda. The room was rather secluded from the rest of the resort, with clear signs of desolation. The pavement ad surrounding areas clearly need cleaning, scrubbing and blower. The"beautiful pool" shown in Agoda was dirty and has not been cleaned for a while that I dared not risk my child's health by allowing him to swim in it. The internet t.v was not working, and it took several calls just to get the staff to look at it. The room is humid and was very uncomfortable. Worst, the whole place has a very eerie vibe. Those who wish to stay here, please choose the camp site or other room types that are closer to the main camp area as i believe it would be safer there. The river and facilities near it looked great, but not the accommodation on the secluded hill.

Sahom Valley Resort offers a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery, hills and flowing streams. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind and reconnect with nature. There are plenty of outdoor activities for families and groups and the kampung-style setting adds to its charm.
The resort is more about the natural experience than luxury, so don't expect a high-end hotel. Some facilities may feel basic.
