The footpath from your door leads to the charming village of Talkin. Grab a shift pint and hearty meal in the village inn, or mosey down to The Boathouse Cafe for lunch al fresco overlooking the tarn. When it's time to embrace the great outdoors, hire a rowing boat, paddleboard, or kayak to launch off the tarn. Tee off from the local golf course - it overlooks the cottages. Then take a stroll around the 1.3-mile tarn through the mature woodland. Or, you could stay tucked up at home and soak up those views from the private patio or beside the fire – it's a scene you'll never tire of.
