lovely apartment and good location.

Lovely apartment, good location, very clean and comfortable. Well equipment and nice and warm.

Parking was a bit tight when the car park was full and the stairs to the top floor where very steep, but not enough to be a problem.

Fabulous apartment with everything you need

Warm welcoming well equipped apartment. Centrally located. Friendly hosts. Quality of fixtures and fittings. Great value for money

We ate in every day and we found the apartment would benefit from a table (even a fold away one with chairs) to eat at as the kitchen island was not the most comfortable place for a leisurely dine.

The location in Brampton was just what we were after and the private parking spot was great. The property was nice and warm and cosy. The en suite bathrooms were very good. Kitchen well appointed.

I hadn't realised the 2 floor property was actually over three floors as stairs from the front door took you up to the property itself. The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep and the only toilet was on the top floor. We were both surprised that local planning/building regs actually passed the second flight of stairs.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

The only drawback was the steep stairs leading to bedrooms. Although I knew in advance it was it suitable for anyone with mobility problems. It was not a problem for us.

Lovely accommodation in Brampton with plenty of space and very clean.

This house has the best bed I've slept on in years. I even found myself looking for the mattress label to see what type it was. The house is clean and well outfitted, very spacious for a family of four. I think they could have provided a foldaway cot even for two more guests (kids/teens) to stay in the living room and it still would have been more than spacious for a larger party. The kitchen had everything one needs for a home away from home stay.

Perhaps I just overlooked this, but you must be able to climb stairs to access this property. The only thing on ground level is the entrance door. Climbing one flight gets you to the kitchen and living room. Climbing another gets you to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. For our family, this wasn't a problem, but I was very glad not to have been traveling with someone who struggled with mobility.

Lovely apartment, well placed in Brampton

This is our second time staying at the property and as per our last visit, it was amazing. There is loads of space within the apartment itself and the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. The property is well placed and benefits from a private parking space. Brampton as a town has plenty of pubs and eateries making it a lovely place to stay.

This wasn't an issue to us but there are two sets of steep stairs to the property so people with ambulant issues may struggle.

Excellent property in an excellent location

The property has a keypad which was very easy to operate. The apartment was very clean and very spacious and the owners left nice little touches for us such as tea and coffee and some chocolates as it was Easter.

We have no complaints at all about this property, we were very happy with our choice.

The old gables is in a excellent location right in the centre of Brampton. The property has everything you need with a fantastic kitchen, great sized living room and 2 en-suite bedrooms. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely use it again.

Well-appointed location to explore North Cumbria

Well-appointed accommodation and central location , close to all necessary facilities. Car parking needed and very nearby. Very communicative and attentive owner, who we sadly missed when they called round several times.

The banging door of the Medical Practice below the accommodation from 9am until 6:30pm.

Hadrians wall was amazing.

Price reasonable and very near hadrians wall. Bathrooms nice.

Lack of basic kitchen equipment - no teapot, coffee pot/cafetière/machine, no colander or strainer, only 4 mugs and not enough cutlery. You don’t have enough to run a full dishwasher before you need to reuse items again ! Sofa/throws/cushions smelt as if they need cleaning - someone has obviously slept on them! Main bedroom has obviously been smoked in. Dreadful sleep on both nights because of noise from the high street - pubs, music, drunken brawls etc !! Not really what we wanted and I don’t think that was obvious from the info provided.
