The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, and the host was great at communicating with us. The location of the apartment is very close to everything you might need locally, and fantastic for exploring sycamore gap.
We struggled with the bathrooms not having any doors on them. My partner also found it difficult to sleep with the noise and vibrations from the passing trucks. The stairs were slightly hazardous due to wear.

Very comfortable and cosy. Kitchen had everything you need. Dianne + family are very easily contactable if you need anything. Had some pipes freeze over and they were over right away to fix everything.

Amazing historic property, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The communication was great and loads of local shops and amenities nearby as well as walks for the dog.

On a busy main road which hadn't appreciated. It w as pretty noisy - people and heavy traffic
The apartment itself was modernised well. But, no doors on the bathrooms. And the stairs were so dangerous. Such a significant slope in the middle of the stone steps. Whilst carrying bags etc really hard to not fall.
